The cast of "Matilda the Musical" has been preparing for a performance that will be watched by tens of millions: The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. "Matilda" is one of four Broadway shows featured in this year's parade.

I love Milly's attitude, how she's sad to be leaving but at the same time she's happy that four other girls are going to have the same opportunity that she, Sophie, Oona and Bailey had.

+ItsMeJos No Matilda will close in 2017 and these girls left in 2014. At the moment they have the 5th team of Matildas and one of them will do the closing night.

Nooooooo !!! You have me near tears. The Matildas are leaving !!! I can't believe it. They are the show. My dream has been to get to New York and watch Matilda four times, once with each Matilda. My dream is shattered.

That's how I will feel, when Patina Miller leaves Pippin. I can't imagine the show without her. :( I'm in Los Angeles and hoping to get out to NYC by may to see some shows. I know Matilda will have all new girls by then but you should still go and look forward to seeing them. They will be great, whoever the new girls are. :) I do know how you feel though.

That's how I will feel when Haley Flaherty (currently playing miss honey in London) leaves the show.. She is the perfect Miss Honey!! I can't imagine the show without her either.. :(

Don't be sad: Dozens of girls have played Matilda worldwide, and many, many more will play her before the play is through. The four American girls who opened the Broadway production are amazing, but the New-tildas will be just as good in their own way. When you come to NYC and see the show on Broadway I promise you won't be disappointed.

@@user-fv1qv8gp2w last year she starred in this horror movie called Hereditary and it was super positively received by audiences. She did an awesome job and she's ridiculously well-spoken in all her interviews. It's super impressive what she's able to do at such a young age

I did Matilda in Year 7 (start of secondary school) and my favourite song was When I Grow Up 😂😂 . That was in 2018 when we were 11.

It’s sad how broadway totally decided to make the newer Matilda’s just drop the accent. The ensemble had theirs on broadway but the lead never did in later casts. The og Tildas are amazing and my favorite
