I'm 12 and I've always wanted to play Matilda - when I was younger I learnt all of her solos in songs and the dances as well. I was quite obsessed. I saw it last week on the west end and I was so in awe of Lara McDonnell who's the same age as me. I'm like 4'10 though so I'm a bit too tall for Matilda :( I wish I could still play her as my voice is so high

sarina / eleven me too, I have seen it twice and my dream was to be either Matilda or in the school ensamble but i had signed up to audition in late 2016 when i broke my foot and couldn't audition. My dreams were crushed and i will never be able to perform in this incredible musical. I wish i could be in it as an older school child, i bet you would too!💖🤘

It came to Australia in 2016 and I wanted to audition. I was 12 at the time, but unfortunately I was 5’8” at the time so yeah!! Im really tall and that can be a disadvantage in theatre. Although, being tall did get me the role of Lurch in my schools production of the addams family musical😂

When I was younger I learnt all the choreographies and solos too, I’ve always wanted to be Amanda, all of the girls who played her are so powerful. I love the character. My obsession had stopped but now it started again, I’m learning Bruce right now ;)

When my dad saw this on broadway he said they were much better than Annie across the street. Lol he said they could go over and kick the asses of the kids in Annie. "It's the hard knock-" "TRY GETTING LOCK IN AN EXTREMELY SMALL CLOSET FULL OF NAILS FOR 6 HOURS!!!"
