Hey this is a great place. I love Porto, a little piece of heart. Did you know the Dom Luis Bridge was designed by a disciple of the Eiffel Tower’s author ? The food was delicious and nice walk along the beach. Normally it’s very busy there 🙂 thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, what a wonderful Eiffel inspired bridge. We feel so lucky to be here while it is so quiet. So often we have museums and other places to ourselves. We loved Porto and Lisbon too. We're working on other videos to show more soon. 😊
Isn't it a great place? We loved it there. I think we went into Macdonald's and used their loo in the end. A good old fail safe if public toilets can't be found. 🤣
you guys are brilliant, great find that 5 euro meal. I love the half litre of wine! you must try my favorite dessert 'baba de camelo' translated as camel dribble. (it's as sweet as buggery, but i love it).

@Weihs Reinhold Thank you! We try to respond fairly promptly but sometimes comments get missed! We're actually in the Algarve now! We spent 10 wonderful days in Lisboa then headed to Portimão as Lee wanted to get to the beach before it got too cold! It's certainly nowhere near as cold as the UK but we had some very rainy days in Porto & Lisboa... and had 19ml rain today! The weather forecast is usually very accurate so we knew we'd have to stay inside most of the day ☺️
I don't know why they changed the way of having soup, always been first the soup,then main meal,then the desert.... Sometimes it makes me sad how many things have changed in Portugal!!!
I knew exactly which video you were referring to as soon as the notification came up, as this is the only restaurant that has ever served us soup AFTER the main dish! At €5 each for that incredible meal, we didn't complain and actually went back a second time 😁😀 ~ Mandy
