I don't necessarily need the same actors/characters. I know the mythology is built on Neo buuut, he isn't the only character in this mythos. I can understand the difficulty telling a new story without the character that kicked off the franchise but, I loved the ANIMATRIX. It expanded the world and has an excellent anthology format and awesome animation style. Matrix 4 fell flat for me storywise. It felt like a re-tread to me. N.P H. is enjoyable as the smarmy psychiatrist. Hopefully this next installment will be better.

There is only 1 way this works, and it would require a crossover between the Matrix and John Wick universes. Neo recruiting his twin and alter ego John Wick to fight against whatever crap enemy they dream up to be the "big bad." However, I am more inclined to believe they will use a more woke approach such as Neo becoming Mio.....
