As a network engineer let me explain what I think the duck is....in programming a phase " rubber ducking" is used when you want to find a bug or broken part of code you're trying to fix... probably has something to do with that
This movie may show us what happens to to the one after the Matrix is restarted. My theory is that when the one returns to the source and the Matrix is rebooted to the next version. The machines want to buy as much time as possible before a new anomaly appears and they need to restart again. The cycle is about every 100 years. They know there can only be One anomaly at one given time so what they do is wipe the memory of the One, change there Rsi and put them back into the matrix. They keep them under constant surveillance with programs we've not seen before like the Analyste in the new movie. They keep them bluepilled and alive as long as they can because once they die a new One they can't control will appear. And the cycle repeats.
Out of every trailer I've seen and everything I've read this is by far the best concept and explanation and I praise you for this. Die hard matrix fan here. You're the man.

Jam Punch - love you guys. Here's a thought you might want to investigate. One of the things many point out about the Matrix 4 Resurrections (M4R) trailer is what looks like the faint glow of golden light at the bottom of the title screens and the golden hue of the initial image of the trailer. Wonder if shooting the film in the Golden State means anything. I also think that the image of an older man in the mirror is not NEO, but Agent Smith (somehow). It's the eyebrows that give it away for me. Not sure how it could be, but it makes sense, since Smith's and Neo's code was comingled at least a few times during the original trilogy. Let me know if you agree...
The weird thing about the destroyed city at 10:00 is regardless of whether it is an above-ground city or a destroyed Zion, there shouldn't be any 'sunlight' rays. Unless for some reason the sky is no longer blackened.
Although- perhaps since its been more like 600 years since they initially blacked out the sky- theres been 6 versions of the matrix- it may have brightened enough now?
I personally thought Trinity’s bracelet looks a lot like intertwined sentinel tentacles, wrapped around her wrist like a chain. Possibly symbolising trinity being a placement/under the control of the machines or something along those lines.
The rubber duck is in reference to the song” rubber ducky your the one “ implying that Neo is the one. At least that’s what I got from it. I’m a 80s baby so I heard it all the time as a child
Perhaps in this new version of the Matrix--where people have presumably been given a choice to stay or leave--the events of the previous films are actually portrayed as movies to the population. Present something real as fiction so the audience can easily dismiss any such ideas as fantasy. Perhaps this world is our world.
@@JamPunchStorytelling I don’t think he meant it in that sense. The events in the previous films did happen but it this one they’re being used as movies to keep everyone docile and complacent. The matrix would have a detail record of all the previous events(inside the matrix) just like any computer that keeps back up files, history, etc.

At about 13 minutes and 3 seconds of your video, you show the scene of the woman flipping over the police car, but did you notice the lights on top of the police car were blue and red?
Would you do one on all the Easter eggs that relate to philosophy and religion please sir? The number plates on cars, the constant reference to 101/303 in the first film, names of characters and ships... There are so many! Everything is so deliberately designed in the films! That's what I love about it!
12:35 Alright! So that green sign in the background is for the Simulatte Cafe, a coffee shop that seems to be heavily tied into the mystery of Trinity's re-existence. This is the same place Neo shakes her hand and she's like "Have we met?", and on WhatIsTheMatrix, there's footage of a shootout in here with Neo stopping the bullets, and a shot of trenchcoated Neo walking to the cafe at night. Also, I can't not see Jessica Henwick's face in that Trinity identity crisis shot. Jessica is playing the blue-haired chick.
The first matrix movie was an allegory to Alice in Wonderland, where Matrix 4 is synonymous with Alice through the looking glass, the sequel to the original Alice in wonderland. Everything is the same but in reverse… meaning the “blue" people are the good guys, and the "red" ones are not. Like the Blue hair girl, vs a young Morpheus. It even shows the book for the Alice in wonderland sequel in the trailer.
And I agree about the Matrix within the Matrix theory, because in the second Alice in wonderland, she shouldn’t wake up the Red King because he is dreaming about Alice, and if he wakes up, she will no longer exist, and at the end of the story Alice wonders who was really dreaming of whom, her or the Red King?
Great video again! I'm slowly devouring all of them and rewatching as much as I can before I see the new one on Wednesday. I do disagree with there being no other references to other cities at around 7:50 like you said. In the first movie Wabash and Lake is referenced which is a reference I believe to a bar that the Wachowskis used to frequent in Chicago (at the very least it's an intersection - last time I was in Chicago I got a pic standing there!) Also the city skyline while looking down the freeway in the Reloaded chase screams of I-94 in Chicago too though not obvious measurably speaking unless you know the Wachowskis are from(?) Chicago
6:40 Alright, so you say he's seeing an old version of himself, but I see it as a totally random old dude. I don't think he looks Iike Keanu at all. In the WhatIsTheMatrix footage, it shows Neo taking his blue pills, with that old guy being his reflection. I think the blue pills, Ontolofloxin, are keeping it so he genuinely doesn't see himself as Keanu Reeves and stops questioning his reality. More trans allegories!! When he pours all the blue pills away, that's why we see him looking at his reflection so intensely. Cause he's Keanu fuckin Reeves now.

Hey guys, great stuff as always. One comment I have is that Trinity's bracelet reminds me more of the sentinels than a snake motif. I like your idea, however, that it represents unending time as well. Just thought you might like another perspective. Also, any thoughts on the fact that Resurrections is based in San Francisco, which is in California, which is the Golden State? Something to do with golden code? I don't know, just spitballing. Keep up the great work.
11:13 Yeah, this is the weirdest, most meta shit. They're watching The Matrix. haha No other way to put it. You can actually see more of it even earlier in the trailer when Keanu's looking in the mirror and "Morpheus" gives him the red pill. Did they hack into The Architect's server? As far as where they are or at least where they think they are, the Wachowski’s are from Chicago. Where Neo lived and worked was supposed to be “Chicago”. And it could have been in that in the real world.

Actually the Christian Celts believes the wild goose was the Holy Spirit. Christians elsewhere interchanged the geese with the dove in aspects to the Holy Spirit. But I thought the same when he pointed that out. Considering the goose in Native American lore represents taking a quest, acknowledging your on the right path, it being on a train is telling.
