Good video, I love channels like yours. I have noticed a mistake in the video. Sati - a programme created out of what the Rama calls "love" between two programmes. Sati is a programme created without a purpose and faces deletion, hence why her parents are visiting the Merovingian. In exchange for the code to the Oracles RSI (residual self image) or shell for a simpler term the Merovingian will allow her in to the Matrix. Sati was never programmed to control the weather (as in it wasn't why she was created, it's not her function) but was responsible for the sun at the end of Revolutions. Sati is a special character and represents the future the Oracle is heading too. Her existence is proof that programmes are evolving, programmes speaking of love and creating a child, Mr Smith wanting to exit the Matrix and telling Morpheus in the first film that he wants to be free. The programmes are becoming self aware and sentient beings. When Neo sees Sati for the first time, it is described in the script as a being of pure radiant energy. She has the same special code as the Oracle and Seraph.
Yes I completely agree. Honestly I’ve watched that scene when Rama explains it soooo many times. And although I understood the logistics of what he was saying, it wasn’t until years later, now being older, now realizing that this whole trilogy is about the triumph of our humanity and this undeniable human truth we all know and feel and call Love. Now, after Interstellar, a movie praised for its scientific accuracy, did I realize that our ability to Love is what connects us all. That being said. I wish they would have purposely made Sati’s importance more apparent. Like Neo for the first time choosing the opposite door he was programmed to do because of his Love for Trinity, so did these two parents, for the first time, create a program that had no purpose. Simply out of Love. Which is unheard of up until this version of the matrix. So with Neo choosing Trinity and these parents creating a child out of Love, the system is in for a rude awakening.
@@yieldtochristian I've been watching the Matrix since I was around 11 years old and even after rewatching it as a 19-22 year old, it wasn't until I rewatched the trilogy the year before last at 27 did I fully understand it. Love Interstellar, such a great film, Nolan is probably my second favourite director behind Tarantino. Good point regarding Sati's parents and the reference to Neo and the door choosing Trinity because of love!
The Merovingian did want to kill Neo because he resented being replaced by the Oracle. His resentment motivated him to stop the Matrixes cycles. He wanted to return to his position of power. He believed/ felt the destruction/ deaths of the red pills would facilitate his return to power by proving that the Oracle's ideas were wrong.
The upcoming Matrix movie is depicting(in trailers) the New Dawn. The Oracle and Architect used N3O and Smith to almagamate the final catalyst to manifest the Genesis of the new cycle in the Matrix. It's a Trilogy that displays the death/rebirth and overall belifs of the ancient mystery schools and subsequent religions.

I love the matrix and I love your videos! Your videos are the best explanation for the philosophy and technology behind the matrix. As much as I hated 2 and 3, i can see their importance to the matrix mythology now.
I wonder, why did Morpheus think specifically that Neo was the one, what lead him to that decision. If I understand correctly the architect and oracle only that the anomaly "the one" would eventually appear but didn’t know who that one would be so why specifically Neo?
I can't answer that question but I did always think it was no coincidence that the machines chose a hacker, someone who understood how a computer and its programmes work. Neo also wasn't the first "one" that Morpheus believes in. Some of the others who he believed to have the potential were killed by agents.
Great video, interesting to think that machines fundamentally can’t outright delete a program. At first I thought it sounded like a bit of a plot contrivance- but I suppose it’s not so different from a society banning the death penalty
No sati was the first programme created with no purpose and I don't think the architect gave machines a choice about deletion it's clearly stated they delete obsolete programmes but some choose to run

Sati was created by her parents not the machines. She was created without a purpose. She became an exile because her parents wanted her to not be deleted.
I was just about to write this. Sati didn't have a function in the Matrix and it's the whole reason why her parents are visiting the Merovingian in the first place.
@@royalecrafts6252 That's why I said "deleted" & I did not say "killed". It was very clear that Sati's parents were programs because Neo addressed like that during their conversation. I couldn't/ didn't miss it.
Christ, id love a spin off about nightmare matrix and paradise matrix. Whatever the role of the one played on those worlds mustve been incredible. Just found you, I thought I understood these movies but your lore came just in time for the sequel. I feel caught up and I seem to know more.
I’m a bit confused why exiles are hunted forever yet at 2:25 you state it is heresy for machines to delete programs. Seems contradictory and I would really appreciate if you could clarify that. I was hoping the section “why exiles get hunted” would shed some light. Truly appreciate your time and efforts.
The explanation for exiles not being force to be deleted is contradictory. You state the machines won't force a program to delete, and they can either self-delete or become an exile. But then you state all exilic are hunted for deletion. So the programs will in fact be forced to be deleted if they are caught as an exile.
so if they hunt down the exiles what happens then? give them the choice to be deleted or exiled and start all over? I'm confused on that bit, why give them the option but them hunt them down?
If they are sent back to the essences of the source yet sooner or later need for it's job how is it summoned ? If they send it back to the essences can they be brought back ?
Isn't Oracle can be also identified as an exile? Tho can't really say was she exile starting from the matrix 1 or she got her exile status in the matrix 3.
No. The oracle is the co creator of the matrix. She will never been exile. An exile is a programme without purpose. The Oracle has more purpose than most.
@@jordanhenry6478 that's kinda weird tho, since matrix wiki says "after having served her purpose, she went into Exile and aided the Resistance in the Machine War; she ultimately is responsible for ending the war through her manipulation of key members within the Resistance, including Neo."
If you understand this video then you understand how God made our world God put a angel in charge of everything to control the weather to make sure the planets spin correctly it makes me more grateful there is a great father watching over us but also makes me wonder how hard is to maintain a whole planet without the population knowing
Part one the machines would never just delete a program... Part two the agents hunt the reengage programs because they need to be deleted from the matrix... Also the train man controls the I/O of the matrix..
The Oracle is the actual primal mother, the architect is God also known as Yahweh, the Smith are his angels and forces that rule under him and have no will but what he says, the exiles are the demons in the forces that rebelled against him, and Neo is his son
