But this case is also something that can be used to argue in favor of less restrictive gun laws and for more efficient (and sometimes) restrictive mental health policies. If there were so few mass shootings by "a crazy gun man" when gun laws were a lot more lax, and yet it's undeniable that we've had many more of these since with ever increasingly restrictive gun laws - then it supports the notion that it's more of a mental health issue rather than a gun or type of gun issue.
