Matt has an amazing voice, able to hit high C with little effort.. He is a superb tenor with a vocal range around B2-F5.. There are few singers outside of opera that can sing falsetto with such purity.. The fact that he also writes most of his own music, can sing a wide range of genres, from pop to blues to ballads and also plays many of the instruments on his arrangements goes to show he is a talent to be reckoned with in the future.. One can only hope that, thanks to his fans and RU-vid, he will continue to further his career and becomes as well know in the USA as he is in Britain..

Matt got a lot of flack for doing a song in such a strong 80s style when this came out 2 years ago, but more and more artists are reaching back to the 80s for inspiration and everybody loves it. Just goes to show that Matt is ahead of the curve.

In one of his most recent interviews Matt said that he will concentrating on releasing The Fire in the US and Canada after the holidays. I have always said that Matt is perfect for the N. American market. We have Pop and Rock stations but we also have Adult Contemporary radio, which is a mixture of R&B, soft rock and modern country, No hip hop or Beiber. He is perfect for that format.

Because people would download them from youtube and not buy the album. Go buy the album, it's well worth it. People who think all music should be free have never created anything of their own. Put hours and hours of hard work, sweat and tears, just to give it away? 1 or 2 years from now, fill your boots. But with new music, buy it.

This is an awesome song. I really wished he was promoted and his music played here in the US.

I've liked Matt from his 2010 X factor first audition and the boot camp performance sealed the deal.range and focal clarity. outstanding . and if you say he can't sing. record sales say different.

When he says, "you don't have to fall, can lean on me" he is saying that friendship is a much more supportive and dependable relationship. Eric Fromm came to the same conclusion 50 years ago and wrote his great book 'The Art of Loving' on that subject.

I've had never heard of this man before... till 2 days ago. Now I have all his albums and I love it... it's a total new voice for me and I just can't seem to stop listening to his music. Thnx Matt ;)

I think Matt is perfect for the American market because we have what is called Adult Contemporary Radio. It is a mix of R&B, soft rock and country, no rap or mindless pop to compete with. Matt's music would fit perfectly into it. I don't think that they have that in the UK. So all he needs to do is release The Fire and go on some cool TV shows, like Letterman, Ellen and Saturday Night Live or do one of those PBS specials that launched Josh Groban's career.

The reviews for Matt's concert last night at Scala are coming in and they are superb. Five stars for the performances and the new songs. Congratulations Matt.
