This version of Letters is absolutely gorgeous. You can tell what kind of singer a person is so well in an acoustic set and this is full of heart ♥

I bought his album the other day and was blown out of my shoes. So much raw underrated talent. As long as he keeps pumping out the albums i'll be there to buy them
The timbre in Matt's voice has such heart-wrenching quality to it. It's not necessarily a flawless voice, but I think that's part of the appeal for me. It tugs at your heart, eh? Being in the US, I didn't know about him until I happened to come across his rendition of First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and was blown away. I'm looking forward to the day he records that special song with a timeless hook.

Aww I'm from Portugal and Thank God last year I spent my Christmas Holidays in England with my brother or I would never knew Matt, for me one of the most beautiful male voices in the world. He deserve everything, he's an inspiration for me, I'll never give on music, he taught me that and that's my biggest dream.
There are so many versions of most of the songs now. The full album version, the acoustic version, and three or four different live performance arrangements. Some are folky, some bluesy, some rocky. There is even a dance club version of Starlight. So just about everyone can find a version they like. I love them all.

what a beautiful God-given talent. I am a new fan as I live in the US. I am thankful Matt is still with us after his struggles with addiction. A tough road but God has a plan for him and isn't ready for Matt to leave us yet. He's got work to do.

Watching Matt on U Stream earlier today, I was struck by what a naturally happy person he is. Maybe he can be so light hearted because he gets his sad and negative emotions out in song. He pours them out and leaves them behind.
his vocal is great and he has improved more since x factor, I think even his covers of a lot of songs at x factor is even better than original performer, the way he deliver songs are just so touching, it always make me go emo for a short while pahaha! go Matt!

I am into lyrics, and the most passionate and honest lyrics are, the more I have to hear them... If I make a mixed-tape, and maybe it'll be a single artist, but I would put this song next to Maxwell's "Silently" .Same sentiments and the evidence of the depth of their emotions. Matt, remember the principal advice you got when you started in America's Got Talent: OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! Throughout this video your eyes are either closed or looking down. The eyes are the windows of the soul.....that's what is awfully missing in this video.

Matt I followed you since XFactor. To me you have the greatest talent. You work hard and Your voice gets better and better every year. Why you are not even more famous I do not know. But you are the best and true to yourself. Keep singing and playing please.
He wasn't after fame. He wanted a break to be able to make music on his own terms. He said so consistantly since the audition. And his handling of the Ed Sheeran issue shows that he's serious about that. Instead of using it for some hyped promo he cut all media outreach for 3 weeks and just ploughed on with his tour which started that exact same week.

Absolutely stunning! He sings with such passion and so effortlessly. I listen to this song a few times a day and I could listen to his voice all day long.
@SingingFormation Matt is one of the most visible performers around right now. The guy is out turning on Xmas lights, appearing at Award Shows, album signings, on TV and radios shows.and doing free gigs in nearly every city in the UK. What more do you want?

I just realized that 'Faithless' is a perfect country song. Country fans love confession songs. Columbia needs have Matt to re-record it with a more country instrumentation or get it to a huge country star with the right voice like Dwight Yokum.
