I love Jared talking about jumping out of planes. My dad is the same way, he was Air Force CCT in the early '80s, he says he will never jump out of a plane again unless it is crashing.
I hope this turns into more of an attraction, or the next big idea is something along the lines of Drive Tanks where there's all sorts of ranges and maybe 3-gun, combined with concepts from your archery competitions with the wounded vets, some field craft, stuff you do at BRCC and Demo like the racing and burn outs and shooting, there could be so many different possibilities that could really grow over the next 5-10years
Villa de la Mina, a ghost town in Terlingua, recently put the property on the market. Near Big Bend in West Texas, it includes the largest mine in the area with a railroad track entering it. This ghost town remains for sale as of May 13, 2020. A 62-acre town Once again throwing it out there
Dude you guys should make a Texas old west ghost town. It can be like an amusement park, gun range, and community meet and greet place. BRCC could set up a coffee shop, someone else can make a saloon, a range, and whatever else would be in an old west town
Dudes, for liquid nitrogen call machine shops. We use it to freeze things like steel/stainless pins to be inserted into other components that have press fit tolerances. Jared, DO NOT stick your bare hand in liquid nitrogen. Tomatoes and other veggies are perfectly acceptable. Edit: Who do I gots ta talk to 'bout setting up my pitchin' tent in y'all's ghost town???
I grew up around a lot of pro racers and drivers so I know the difference between injuries and success is preparation building jumps and tracks and suspension and safety equipment with people that know what they are doing is the difference between fun and hospital
Matt: doctor. Logan: bar owner. Donut: sheriff. Mat: the home town celebrity. Jared: mayor. Caleb: butcher. Eli: judge. Evan: café owner. Baddie: local dumbass/drunk. Ryan richard: the news/newspaper guy.
Towards the end of the podcast I was like ....... where's Even.. I wonder how he would have thought during the whole ghost town ideal. 😂😂😂😂 oh well I'm in!!!
About the bug out gun question. My AR-15 with the addition of my 22lr bolt and my Remington 7600 30-06. You can carry so much 22lr it's crazy and I have some 55gr Remington accelerators for my 30-06 so everything on the planet from is a target.
There is a book Ghost Towns of Texas so you could find one that you might be able to find one for sale. I have been to several of them. It has pretty good directions to them.
I've seen the Demo Derby run a figure 8 track pulling RV type trailers or recently pulling a boat. Just put a rollcage in for safety and remove everything that can hurt.
I'm going to Full Auto Friday tomorrow for my birthday, 240 Bravo, M16 and Uzi, in Grapevine, but next week I'll be in San Antonio so I'm coming over to Boerne. I have to see BRCC, Bunker Branding, and Apache Rifleworks. Any recommendations for the "unknown BBQ that makes every other BBQ place pale in comparison" restaurants?
i think for the 2 gun scenario from matts cache would be the honey badger as the primary secondary would be if i remember seeing his collection correctly the marlin dark series rifle
I think this ghost town idea is great and the elchromino would be perfect and I have a burnout pad u could even have demo days like u were at Demoranch and black rifle days and maybe a Cletus and cars this could be awesome
