Matt Hardy on If Bo Dallas Can Succeed as Uncle Howdy 

I think it's heartwarming that Bo wants to finish the story his brother started with the uncle howdy character. I think he will try and do it justice. I BO-LIEVE!!!

After watching the documentary I am certain that Taylor will succeed as Uncle Howdy. Just because we are used to seeing him portraying something different doesn't mean he won't excel. I'm looking forward to see him.

For anyone that says Bo should do his own thing … imagine something happened to the Undertaker a few months after Kane debuted, and people said Glen should just go back to being Issac Yankem or Fake Diesel. If you watched the Bray doc, it’s clear that both Bo and Bray very much wanted to work together and tell this story. Let Bo cook. He is doing this to honor his brother and continue the story Bray wanted to tell.

He's not wrong at all and that's exactly why I'm so happy that he's being given a proper chance. It's criminal that it hasn't happened till now but this is his moment. Again, what Matt is saying is spot on. Like, the new nightbird stuff and teases they've been doing have already set themselves in bc how different and distinct the aesthetic and vibe of all of it is, has a very different feel than the stuff Bray was doing and that makes me happy bc it's just enough of a tribute while still being its own thing, and that's what he needs, that's the key to making this work.

I have faith in HHH and Bo. Idk, something feels different this time around. Like even though Bray is not physically here, he's inhabiting Taylor to carry out his final piece. I'm here for it.

I don't love the thumbnail for this simply because there can never be a "new Bray." He is irreplaceable. I'm glad his ideas aren't dying with him, though. I know there were no ill intentions, just rubbed me the wrong way. I hope that regardless of how things go, Taylor is able to find success and forge his path. I hope that the remaining members of The Wyatt Family can find peace and closure.

I really think Taylor (Bo Dallas) should do something different. Go his own way. His brother was my favorite wrestler; met him four times at meet and greets. I don't want to see his creations and stories continue without his guidance.

1 Bo has yet to really shine as a solo star 2 he has the look and wants to keep his brothers legacy alive 3. Hes already Uncle Howdy and his or wwe creativity shouldnt be limited moving forward. Bo Dallas gets exactly the amount of attention as he has got over, which is not much.

Let's face facts, Bray's last run with the company was awful and nobody was getting on board with it, his passing doesn't change that. If they absolutely insist on doing this, a LOT of changes need to Uncle Howdy or it's going to be dead in the water all over again.

"Uncle Howdy" has almost no chance of getting over. Windham Rotunda was a talented man and what happened to him is a tragedy, but the Bray Wyatt character caused a lot of people to just change the channel (even though some people absolutely loved it). A supernatural character is just very unlikely to work in the modern era, and even the Undertaker hasn't included that kind of stuff with his character in many years. "Uncle Howdy" is a really dumb name and many fans have no interest in seeing supernatural BS, I didn't want the Bray Wyatt weirdness and I don't want Bray Wyatt Lite.
