Bring Jeff Hardy/Cena/Batista in France , and you will see a crowd that you could never imagine I know they are not wrestler anymore but it would be fu****ng crazy
I use to have tons of respect for the hardest, However them turning their backs on the company that made them shows what a trash team they are. They shouldn't even be allowed to mention the wwe
Rock n Sock vs The Hardy Boyz in the attitude era would have been so fucking dope and you and Jeff only ever came close to wrestling the rock in that gangrel vs rock match such a shame, even tho jeff got to wrestle him in 03
Rock’s in ring ability was overrated. His mic skills, charisma, and showmanship made him a top guy during his time. Add a cool intro and graphic and he was golden…but as far as in ring wrestling skill? Pretty ordinary.
I agree I’ve been thinking about this quite for some time that if you nail one of the things (mic skills or wrestling) then you’ll become a top guy and people would be overlooking your weaknesses (jeff hardy was an absolute legend in the ring but never touched the mic)
Jeff Hardy should leave AEW either go back to TNA and join brother Matt or go back to WWE and have a match with CM Punk. AEW is not using him right and treating him like trash.
I always thought that the reason the Stone Cold Steve Austin character and The Rock's character were compelling was because they were both born of their creators' real and legitimate frustrations with the state of their careers: Steve had yet to achieve the heights he knew he was capable of despite many years of hard work, injuries and personal sacrifice. Rocky Maivia failed to get over as a babyface and was even met with chants of "rocky sucks" during matches. Some fans even made signs with the words "Die Rocky Die". Both wrestlers incorporated some of their resentment into their new wrestling personas. Austin became a ruthless, hardened warrior who would do whatever it took to get ahead in a game rigged against him. Rocky became a flamboyant egotist who could effortlessly spit the crowd's venom back at them tenfold. The characters resonated because they were at least partially real. They were also saying things that people could relate to: most people are at least a little frustrated with their work, and nobody likes being hated for no good reason. Over time both characters morphed from heels to anti-heroes and the rest is history. Sorry for the rant.
The brothers have given so much to all their fans. We just hope they stay safe. And if that means stepping away from ring action, so be it. No one can fault them for stepping back if it's in the interest of their wellbeing.
Man, I thought from the beginning "I remember seeing Matt and Jeff on the 3 Faces Of Foley VHS sitting in the bleachers just talking with Mick. I'm porbably the only one who remembers that." only to have Foley himself bring it up ❤
I always thought Nic Nemeth could have at least had his moment in the sun or one big main event year in WWE especially when he was white hot for a while
Question is why was Undertaker there? Wasn’t he injured at that time cuz he had to lose the WHC to Edge when he cashed in? Plus what would the gimmick Deadman do at Vince’s fake funeral?
We wanted “Broken Matt Hardy” but in the process Matt Hardy got “Broken”. I really hope Matt and Jeff wrestle for the love of it and not because they need to wrestle.
Side note: what Matt doesn't mention is that Jeff still no-showed some TNA events still from when he back in WWE with that shi. So to say he wasn't in the right frame of mind during that time is an understatement to the max.
