ah, le clavier bien tempéré quelle merveille ! Merci beaucoup de faire vivre Bach, dont on dit souvent qu'il est le père de la musique moderne, sans avoir tant d'occasions de goûter de telles démonstrations d'actualité. Bach à la Jazz est exactement du Bach, et exactement du Jazz, c'est nickel !
I love riffing on classical music (I enjoy playing with Bach Preludes too, and Beethoven's Pathetique 2nd mvmt and other adagios), but your skill and personality are off the charts. Thanks! Total inspiration!
Really Cool! Now I'm doing a choreography for my students in my dance class and we really enjoy it! And for the classical pianist who plays for us, it's also a nice challenge! Thank you for this "Bach à la Jazz"...

Je fais bcp d'arrangement des musiques de Bach ces jours. Il y a ici des vidéos d'une performance que j'ai fait en direct sur radio WQXR à New York: pour le trouver, faite une recherche de "Matt Herskowitz WQXR Bach Lounge" et c'est les premiers 3 vidéos.Bonne écoute! m

I do have sheet music for the original version I recorded for the soundtrack of the film Les Triplettes de Belleville available for free download on my website, which I'll put in my video description now (can't put it here in a message). Unfortunately I didn't write sheet music for the version I play on this video, which was partly improvised. However, I could always write it down when I have a moment...;)

Dear Matt While still being in Heaven, I wonder if you ever created sheets to the improvisation part of this particular piece? I'd love, with the help of sheets for the improvisation part, to attempt to show classical believers that there are room to improvise. Kind regards Henrik

Hi Tania, thanks for asking. I don't have a solo piano score for this version, I only have a solo piano score for the simpler version on the soundtrack of the film Les Triplettes de Belleville. However, I do have a score of this version for flute and piano, and can make a solo piano version from that, which I'll gladly do. It's just a question of time at this point, but I will get on it as soon as possible. I can say that I'll probably have it ready in around a month to 6 weeks from now. You're not the first person to request it, but I see you're a serious musician and I'm happy you're interested in a score of this piece, so I'll get to work on it and will let you know as soon as it's ready :)
the only part I didn't like that begins with 'original' non-improvised version. I believe it should be one way or the other, but not both in the same performance.
