Getting rid of poch would be a colossal mistake and terrible shortsightedness on everyone’s behalf. The performance this season has been far better than last albeit with a significantly less experienced squad. The league position will be vastly improved. The goal scoring is on a completely different level (remember when even tuchel was manager and we couldn’t buy a goal? - never mind Potter or Lampard) The young players are clearly improving week to week - and the squad clearly believe in the manager - you don’t come back from the dead in games and blow teams away when you want the manager gone. We all know this is a team full of raw, inexperienced talent and that pretty much anyone who had experience has been injured all year - this was always going to be a season of figuring out what he had, how best to utilise what he had and deciding what we still lacked for next season. What we wanted to see was improvement and to be able to compete against good teams again - we’ve certainly done that. What possible reason is there to get rid of him? Because some ppl didn’t like his set up sometimes? Because he played a few people out of position a few times? (Note: those are the same ppl who say Cucurella should’ve been inverting into midfield earlier - they’ve got not problem with poch playing him out of position it seems). Let’s be honest - it’s pure narrative and vibes as to why some ppl want him out - there are no actual legit reasons.
@Wiintb

Because he is a Serial Loser and will take this raw talent to limit them being a 3rd or 4th position team for the rest of their career. This guy can’t win to save his life. And you don’t hand over your children to a serial loser. I can’t choose between the evils our club has been stuck with. The ownership and the management give me hardly anything to choose from.
@goldboy150
@goldboy150 4 месяца назад
@@Wiintb that made zero sense. You think playing under a manager who doesn’t win titles early in your career condemns you to never winning titles once he’s gone? The exact same argument could’ve been made about the Ranieri chelsea team - good manager who doesn’t win replaced by a proven winner who takes that team to glory. It’s a ridiculous argument to make. Sack poch now otherwise the players will never win when they’re older. Lol it’s like you’ve not actually followed football for more than like a year. Brendan rodgers liverpool turn into Klopp’s Liverpool. Pellegrini’s city turns into pep’s city. Ranieri’s chelsea into mourinho’s chelsea. The point is we are nowhere near second place yet. There’s no point sacking poch because you don’t think he can make us champions when we are nowhere near being champions with or without poch. What he has a proven track record of is developing and improving young players and taking a team from 6th to 2nd. We might as well let him take us to 2nd and then go out and get a proven winner once we are a team a proven winner would actually want to go to. No proven winner is touching us with a ten foot barge pole yet

There is no one out there that's available who can do a better job then Poch is Doing now ! He has a year left so give him this year and We can always change after that if needed ! This is a Process and he is playing his part in this Process , These player's are growing under him and will be better for the arm around the shoulder he has given even in the tough times !! Get him those 3 missing pieces ie striker etc and a Fully fit squad than we have another discussion end 2024/25 ! I have no doubt that with a fully fit Reece , Fofana , chilly , Enzo etc and a Top striker he will challenge for the title COYB

Liverpool are in transition, man u need a new squad, Pep won't stick around for to long so this Process has started at the perfect time

@londonisbluepodcast it’s been embarrassing to see that you guys had no stats on Connor Gallagher, it was Matt, whose presenting the stats it was Matt Law, who is defending Connor Gallagher and was defending Mauricio Pochettino & not the other way around where you guys are defending. You guys just seem so light in praising Chelsea. You guys are never happy with the progress. You guys are never happy with the win. You used to be really good and that’s why I started following you but nowadays, you have become very negative. Consider this as friendly fan who wants to provide you a gut check on how you guys are doing. I’m in NJ in case anyone wants to catch up.

Mate get a grip. We’re all shell shocked by how bad we’ve been for the last two seasons. While we’re all over the moon with these games, we’re hesitant to get too excited because we have no idea what to expect given the injury issues, medical team, and unknown issues with management, ownership, etc.
@himanshu20792
@himanshu20792 4 месяца назад
@@ds_7 I understand your pov. But we should also recognize the positives when it happens. It’s a slow process, and rebuild takes time. We are undergoing a major transformation and recognizing the positives and using that as motivation is the only way forward. And that is what Pochettino is doing. I’m able to see progress in our games, in our players, in our style. Imagine in the next 2yrs we’ll be regular in top 4. And after that competing for titles, if progress keeps continuing. That’ll be approx 3 more yrs of rebuild, for a total of 5yrs. Compare that to ManU which has been in rebuild for 12yrs ever since Fergie left, I would anyday take 5yrs. So yeah, I’m choosing to look at the positives and be optimistic. But I understand the cautious approach from your side too.

Injuries this season have been abyssmal. Firing the whole medical staff at ONCE was an absolute idiocy of a decision. Imagine the progression this squad could have made if we just retained our medical staff

If I was to be asked a few weeks ago I would have said sack him, even though I've been patient. The issue had been his inability to try something different. Now he has and I feel that there is potential here. Changing manager in the summer might make the team regress.
@hnaku8748
@hnaku8748 4 месяца назад
@@thestoo8328 If that's the case, I can easily see this opinion changing within next 3 games if we keep losing. We have 15 years of management history. Honestly shouldn't be hard to make up our minds.

@@hnaku8748 The points accrued since the new year, despite some chaotic performances is impressive and I was being reactive on the back of some really shit displays. All I wanted to see was a different approach and we're seeing that. Even if they screw up the last two matches it would be sensible to refrain from sacking yet another manager. The constant shift in management and out of sync player rosters has been the teams undoing for a good few years now, keep him there, let him develop some young talents and see where the club is a year or two down the line. I'd only want a new coach if there was a top quality one available, someone who wants a club in Chelsea's position where they can put their own stamp on it.

Of the three elements regarding the club. The team is developing. The manager has shown he can improve the players and team performances. Those above, running the the club, have not improved, or shown maturity in their approach to player purchase priority.
