Don't think he was underrated, especially by people that know what they're on about. One man club. Could have had afew moves I reckon, if the media was like it is now back then there would have been transfer rumours constantly or people openly after him. Wasn't the same back then. Could have played more for England but he was too entertainin and showed too much flair....we crave that nowadays

Yes, I think he would've graced Serie A. Such a shame that England's most creative players are consistently overlooked or played out of position in the national team in favour of one dimensional box to box type players. He was so good, probably the most talented English player of his generation. Such a shame he was capped only 8 times by the national team. Only because he played in a relatively small club like Southampton. Just for not calling him up, England deserved to lose the Euro 1996. If he wanted, this guy could have played in any club in the world, from Man U to Real Madrid, and be the best player in any of those clubs, even win a Ballon D'Or. He remained loyal to his club till the end and that's one of the reasons real football fans we admire and see him as a real legend. All my respect and admiration to Le God! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🔝🔝

Scariest part of Le Tiss was you could NEVER tell your defenders to push him on to his weaker foot, he didnt have one! look at the goals in the video and there are goal of the month if not goal of the season contenders scored with each foot. Watching Match of the Day was always a must if he was playing in an "extended highlights match". Le Legend, Le God, LE TISS!

Absolute Genius , what more can you say . I'm a Saints fan since 1975 , I was at Wembley in 1976 . Bring back the good old days . Southampton don't sell more good players for a profit , you get more for your money by winning Titles . Le Tissier played for the Shirt and the Crest above his Heart , not for the Money . Think on Chairmans of the Board .
