Incredible! So glad for this interview. Had tears when he was talking about the making of 'Heart of Worship'!

I had the song at my baptism. It spoke to me because my baptism was witnessed by many but it was between me and God. I also went away from God from many years but I came back to the heart of worship

I love how he put that at the end: the songs that seem to connect with people the most are ones that connect to their lives. 😊

It was one of the most personal song for me when I came to know the Lord Jesus intimately. I laid it all at the feet of the Lord when I first sang this, and gone on to where I am today. Praise the Lord, never looked back :)

Be a worshipper not a performer. Matt is a true worshipper of God.

Much respect for Matt and his commitment to scriptural integrity in his writing. We are losing that in the modern “worship” songs of today. This is an older video, but he seems to still hold true to his statements today.
