Man when he explains hearing sirens every day trapped down there & after the fisher man found him, he remembers finally hearing the sirens stop above him. Always check on crashed cars, you never know when someone might still be inside.
@@JcraftCharger You get no answer because he is the one choosing what or if any will be told not you. More than 6 Days in a Car and Hurt is enough Pain for most to never make it Public because then People will come and ask you the whole life how it was.
Those two guys who spotted him saved his bacon. He was NOT visible from the road. They were out scouting for fishing spots. He should thank them profusely
Im glad hes happy…i just came from the original video & i really hoped he had survived…i was afraid it might have driven him insane..it would have me. I hope he has an easy life.
The fact that his phone didn’t hear him and help him is infuriating. Honestly there are so many costs to all of these devices that we pay, they are always listening and stealing information from us- and yet when it comes to saving us? His phone just sat there doing nothing
Amazing story. Don’t swerve to miss animals on the road; keep going straight, even if it means you’ll hit them. I taught that to all 3 of my daughters as they learned to drive.
My dad taught me that too. A huge deer jumped out at my Camaro as I was going 65. My dad’s words ran through my brain in a split second. I hit it straight on without swerving but miraculously I only had a slightly dented license plate. Killed the deer I think.
@@MikeHoncho-cj5hv any kind of surfaced roads, you should not swerve at all for an animal. I sat in on a trial where this deceased lady’s family was suing the car manufacturer because she swerved to avoid a family of possums or raccoons crossing the highway, and her car flipped many times, ejecting her out of the car. They sued and said the seatbelt should not have failed. They lost the case. It was horrible. I had to hear testimony of the witness who stopped and heard her final breaths and moaning in pain.
Siri won't call 911. I fell and broke 8 ribs in 15 places last November, it was 34 degrees outside and I was in an inch of water and flat on my back. I am C.E.R.T. trained in first aid and CPR so I started thinking I will be hypothermic within a dozen minutes so I knew I had to get up and crawl/walk 20 ft to get inside, and then 15 ft to my cel phone to call 911. After calling I knew it was going to be 20 min till they arrived, and made the conclusion "I'm not going to be back home tonight" so I grabbed my charger, wallet, and keys while waiting. A week in the ICU, surgery on 3 ribs for Thanksgiving. When your survival instincts kick in it really does happen as he described.
I would love to have a drink with this guy and talk to him. What an absolute legend. The way he talks about it and the way he held it together throughout that interview. Fucking legend.
I am so happy that you made it and that you are able to continue on with your life and know that you are going to encourage and empower other people. You are amazing young man and God was with you those six days to make sure that you stayed alive.
Yes! The fact he had access to water is a sign from God. And then he sent those fishermen. In the Bible fishermen are mentioned often, alot of Christians put an emblem or sticker of a fish as a show of faith
I hate to break the news, but according to your logic your god was also the reason he even had to suffer. Isn't it happier to just think he was lucky instead of something we can't fathom forcing him through such a tragedy?
Things like this make me believe there is a higher power. I mean what are the odds to land where no one can see you easily, but at the same time landing in a spot where you got access to water to survive. And what are the odds that two random guys think, yeah, today is a good day to check this one of all the rivers in the area out for fishing spots. A lot came together for his survival. so much that you seriously have to doubt that so much chance can happen together.
100% a miracle indeed. Whether you believe in God or not, I think God saved him. Not just randomness that his truck landed in that exact spot for him to get water
Youre not allowed to here. cops harass you & tell you you cant park here once you do. Especially here in Missouri they go for parked cars first & will either find a reason to ticket you or give you an ultimatum. They’re all dicks here & ive never gotten help from a single one.
This is what I was wondering, like damn bro you disappeared for six days and nobody filed a missing persons. No boss, mom, gf, damn buster. Cause first thing they would have done was pinged his phone. And bam out of there.
@@josephicenogle9443As a single person, I think about this a lot. How many days of me not showing up to work would it take for my boss/coworkers to realize that something bad happened to me?
@@josephicenogle9443police won’t help before 48hrs and phone companies won’t either I’ve tried after we lost contact with my mom when she decided to go to Mexico on the bus……without any plans…..she has ckd and must do dialysis at home everyday. I ended up calling every hospital and clinic in Texas after she didn’t show up to be picked up by my aunt at the border in Mexico
Very difficult rescue Especially with the manpower shortage of first responders. Where bigger cities have five personal per apparatus Portage Fire Department have 3 personal per apparatus Great job guys
This is the only video that i have watched that did this. All other videos i have watched before AND after there was no issues what so ever. Even had no issues when playing games on the pc. @@Schwarzie10
somebody messed up the audio and you can only hear it from the left channel, but since you can't hear it i guess you are listening to it in mono? in 2024?
@@Justgreen89925 I'm an audiophile , so only stereo for me. The uploader could be using an outdated program or an outdated vid/aud card in their system and you would get the "mono effect" for some users when using a more up-to-date set up that dont recognize the outdated one.

Amazing survival story wow! PERIOD God is amazing! No coincidences with God! Wasn't his time. A miracle! Gid bless this man. If he wasn't a believer he should be now!! 🙏
One idea: What if bridges had brittle guard railings in bright red? If somebody drove off the bridge, they would break, and one could clearly see that from the road.
For other car wrecks that might just make more projectiles that could be dangerous 🤔? Also they get a lot of snow, so once the highways get plowed it would probably destroy it?
I can't help but wonder if there is some other type of frequency we haven't discovered where this man could compel the fishermen to the area to located a stranded victim.
This man's story is a classic example of how society sucks and people need to pay better attention to their surroundings. I'm sure it was obvious to others an incident happened in the area and no one cared.
For some reason the audio for Matt speaking is only coming through the left speaker. If you have headphones put in both. If its your speaker, it may be prioritizing right speaker over left.
he was speeding, he went into the river bank front end first his truck rolled under the bridge sideways for able to get that impact he had to be speeding.
There was a guy who survived 18 days without water. It all depends on the age, body type, and other conditions. In the desert you can die in less than a day. Under a bridge, in the cool weather, and next to a humid river you could probably go a week as long as you don't sweat.
