As a DV survivor, DV jokes can 100 percent be enjoyed. Best way to get over something is to laugh. His joke wasn't offensive to me. It was just poorly executed and seemed way off his usual style. Ideally, RU-vid could design a system that polices hate content like that but allows for edgy, uncensored jokes or violence or uncensored news coverage. People saying 'unaliving' and 'essay' instead of suicide and rape is genuinely cartoonish, dystopian and completely pointless. I'd rather keep both the hate content and the uncensored good content than live in the censorship hell that RU-vid has become.
