Everyone's favorite Falcon joins The Locker Room. Matt Ryan discusses his days as a QB, the Falcons chances this season, Desmond Ridder and his new roll as an analyst for CBS Sports.
Matt Ryan deserves way more credit than he gets for coming in as a rookie the year after Vick and Petrinos mess and taking us to the playoffs. He's had a career worthy of the HOF.
Matt is a Falcons legend, one of the best QBs to ever play in the NFL. If he had somehow won that super bowl, which they should have won, his whole career and legacy would have been on a different level. Crazy how 1 or 2 plays could define a player’s career.
It’s very rare for me to watch a RU-vid clip this long and wish it be longer..this was one of them. Put together nicely and Matt Ryan effect. I wish him all the best in his new career..will be watching
This was great. I subscribed, and I don't know what channel this is. I wish they would have asked if he were an offensive coordinator, which teams one of his team's playbook would he use.
Two questions for Matt: who paid you to hit Eric Berry in the hands to lose that game? No way that wasn't on purpose. The second, how on Earth did Kyle Pitts have those amazing stats and only two touchdowns? I defended you until it became impossible. We will NOT discuss the Superbowl.
Was it Shanahan? Was it really? The ball was in Matt's hands when he was sacked...just...outside...of...field...goal...range.....That is a day, as an Atlanta Native I no longer wish to speak of. Why was Matt throwing? He sure called a lot of audibles during the year.....
@@AndresSheehan-gn3yk obviously you don't know shit about FOOTBALL, every player has a responsibility in a play, freemans responsibility was to pick up the blitz, they even said it afterwards in interview....so the guy who decided not wait til the Superbowl to ask for MORE MONEY, couldn't do his job and that right there is why the falcons don't have a ring... Him not picking up the blitz, took them out of field goal range...
@AndresSheehan-gn3yk He also completed the next pass to put them back in fg range. You going to blame him for the hold too. It's a team game and Matt Ryan was definitely not the weak link. It wasn't that sack that pushed them out of Bryant's range but that's what every focuses on. That's expected as a QB but not accurate.
