@@martinofidacaro2281 He said he thought Phil's step dad told him that. Essentially that loyalty is not important and that if you think you can get a better deal for yourself in some way then you should abandon your team and go for it. From what I understand he is saying that made him understand Phil's mindset (regarding his teammates) a little bit.

Agreed..he was also involved with the mob and John alite, who's a mass murderer..look at several exgirlfriends of Phil baronni has to have plastic surgery after he beat the everloving sh*t out of them.. now in a Mexican prison for finally murdering one

I’ve met Matt a couple times and he is a nice guy. I have friends who are tight with him and involved with Serra BJJ. I’ve never met Phil but used to train with a guy who knew him and was told similar stories to what Matt is saying here.

Before you run your mouth or believe rumors about other people, why would you expect a modern day gladiator who gets paid by putting his life and his opponents life at risk, who would you expect him to be a calm, down to earth guy? That’s fucking stupid expectation, fighters have to be cocky and arrogant and super intense. You know how some people have a chip on their shoulder, a fighter has to have a fucking brick on their shoulder. Don’t ever judge a fighter unless he does something out of order

@@yeshuasage3724 I’m not running my mouth brother. And I’m not saying any rumors. I am a Phil Baroni fan and wish him well. Not saying anything remotely negative in the slightest about the guy. In fact - I always wondered why he didn’t link up with Matt, since they are from the same area. (Which is how I got to this video). Matt has a very successful business and Phil would do great there in my opinion. In fact, I would go to Serra’s gyms if Phil were involved. I just don’t have the time to train anymore. Maybe I’ll go back in a couple years. I sought out a less in the public eye Sensei from the same area and similar circles, as I was never interested in seeking any attention about any Martial Arts. Just did it as a hobby.

@@danski6694 the amount of bitchiness and gossip in even the most sacred areas of the manospehere i.e.martial arts gyms is fucking ludicrous Just when you thought you could get away from ppl backbiting and slandering and join a martial arts gym, you see grown men who are trained engaging in the same fucking lindsay lohan behavior as teen girls The only time a guy should be talked about in a fight gym is to warn newcomers if he spars to hard, or does scams or criminal behavior

I will back this story up 100 percent. I used to set up the ring for those vengeance at the Vanderbilt shows. Had that experience with Baroni at a tournament during that time. Guy was super cool and then turned just like Serra said.

Phil baroni was from a legit mafia family his dad works for the gambinos.. as a kid when he was a highschool wrestler they would take him when they were doing jobs robbing drug dealers Phil would get sent in to pin the guy beat him up he would put them in a cradle so the mafia actual hitmen for the gambinos would have these guys tied up and then they would do what needed to be done for that guy to handover his drugs his money ect.. crazy life Imagen going back to wrestling practice what did you do at the weekend .. robbed a few dangerous drug dealers with my dad and his mafia hitman friends 😒🤨 aye cool yeah I went to the cinema with my girlfriend baroni snr the was a connected guy to one of the most powerful crime families in America.. taking his son out on jobs the guy lived a crazy life
