I’m hoping they can work things out, you can tell there’s a lot of love between them

I think Matt is a good guy, but I also feel for Rudi.

chris harrison and producers did them dirty . matt got in his head when chirs had to ruin and say that they have to be 100% in to go sing on stage . sad . trevor was the one who was not genuine with jamie he was confused all the time but he played along for his performances with her . RUDI and matt were winners

I think Matt actually did LIKE rudi, like that. BUT...since this is like speed dating where they only get to know each other over like several weeks, Matt is just more realistic. If they had met in the real world without all this pressure, took it slow on the feels train, and they could casually date, then it wouldve been different. Maybe they could've both liked each other after a month and then he couldve had the chance to fall in love with her over the course of 6+ months like people normally do. I think these 2 had the potential to be a good couple, just wasn't the right setting. Not enough time

Rudi and Matt were the stronger singers in this competition.I was really bummed about this, especially for Rudi, that girl can sang.I felt like smacking Matt thru the tv for doing that.lol.

I don't get this, this isn't like the other bachelor shows, there is no engagement and life long commitment waiting for them at the end, it's just a tour contract, and they're so compatible with each other (even besides the romantic connection), why do they need to break up? They can just feel things out after the competition? Obviously because their romantic connection wasn't as deep as Chris & Bri yet, the producers got into their head and influenced him to end it because they knew if they perform, there is no way in hell they won't win cz they're the most talented. This sucks.

Why can't they just enjoy their passion for music and continue as good friends? Rudi can not force him to feel something he doesn't. They are by far the best artistic couple of the three!!!

I completely was crying right along with Rudi~ I just loved Matt and Rudi & the Beautiful Music that they created. I'm hoping for you two to still make that Beautiful Music together~ 💞

Matt should have said: I really like you, I enjoy your company, we have fun, I love singing on stage with you, but..........I am not in love and I dont know if I will ever get there......

Rudi I feel you, you are heartbroken, Matt it was hard for you to open for love, but harder to tell Rudi that you weren't there yet. I turned the tv off when you both left, because I was crying just like Rudi. Love you guys I wish the best to you both

Well I admire Matt for being honest and not faking it like most would have done. My heart goes out to Rudi. They would have won in my opinion.

They both should of won... everyone knows this all bs falling in love and couples breaking up. But I am grateful they did find some genuine people on the show....

I turned the show off to. I waited all week myself. We were robbed of the songs by Tim and Faith and Whitney. Rudi and Matt would have crushed them and brought home the win!!!!!!!!!!!! what ever the reason I wish them well and hope we can be blessed with there voices in the future!!

maybe be the franchise , asked Matt and Rudi to back out for they are sure to win, even they are not a couple yet. just saying. and they have already a career to continue. . many are rooting for Matt and Rudi.. co confusing.

Urrrrgggh I guess he did what he needed to. But lord knows I was waiting a week for the finale just to hear Rudi and him sing again. Totally crushed. I wish people didn’t feel the need to fake it till you make it in a relationship. If he was just upfront from the beginning perhaps she could have connected with someone else. I didn’t think they had to be in love by the finale, he apparently didn’t see a future with her or see himself falling in love with her. So sad. But who knows maybe the dropout was all from production

Matt is marshmallow soft, that’s the problem. They are both incredibly talented musicians there is no denying that, I was actually disappointed to not see them perform again however I think I he got cold feet or stage fright, why should you not perform regardless of whether you love each other or not, who’s to say that won’t come after? Very weird

Literally I was yelling at the tv saying, No No No, Matthew! Matt you need to fix this now. And then sitting there hoping some producer would be like you guys dont have to be in love to win, we just want you to have a connection, so they can sing and we can hear the magic.

I hope we may hear another interested views of Matt and Rudi after these Finale. they were interviewed by some shows, and I think they are still friends . Hoping to see them in a show or videos. they are loved by so many.

I think its not Matt ' s fault here. it has to do with their career. Matt has already making his album with his band while Rudi has also her own gig or demo. I think. Again the franchise has to deal with this issues. the winners now of the said shows are fresh singers, Chris and Bri now is launching their debu album, credited goes to ABS, of course. just my opinion.

To that ouragous Matt and Rudiwho says she's not ready for the next step unable to recieve the rose, Chris remaind the couples of their strong relationship Matt Pulls Rudi aside by telling her that's just not there when he's not with her. that breakup was obsessible.

I respect them both for having this hard conversation. Of course they would've won the competition for their voices. However this wasn't just a voice competition. I choose honesty anyday rather than someone stringing me along.

Painful to watch....Matt, you should have watched the replay of the “Shadow” performance. You were so happy, proud and in love with Rudy. I still don’t get it.

Everybody seems to like the drama and wants to force a relationship between Matt and Rudi, but it's clear that this is a one sided relationship and Matt doesn't feel the same way about her even after they spent the night together. This is real life he is just not into her like that, and you can't force how you feel about someone. I am sure many of you ladies have had men who liked you and you didn't feel the same. It's best for them to part now than to drag it out. They will find their match when the time is right.

Rudi and Matt are honest people. Trevor and Jamie broke up ASAP after the show. Brie and Chris did album and are now broken up. Toooo bad Rudi and Matt too honest! Rudi and Matt just have something special as singing duo. Tooo bad they just want to be solo singers doing what they were doing before the show. I think Matt has no interest in finding that special girl. I think Matt wants to be with his cousin, and would not want to sing with Rudi, because she is as good as he is! Such a shame!!! Like they said on show, Rudi and Matt, you were magical TOGETHER!!! I listen to your three songs all the time!!! Just so heart warming and unbelievably awesome! I wonder if the original song writers didn’t like how good they were! Matt and Rudi, your version of the songs were better than the original!!! He doesn't need to pretend unless he wanted to win. He could've just sung with her . But he dislikes her so much he couldn't even sing with her. Maybe he's afraid to be overshadowed. Maybe he's afraid they would actually win.

He is not into her at all.... never was, she is just too high maintance for him, he was just using her to promote his own music.
