Matt Williams is the best 3B of the 90s But wow 😮 So much baseball nostalgia in one place... Joe Morgan, Harry Carey, Barry Bonds, Todd Benzinger, Candlestick Park, Vin Scully, Will the Thrill, Girardi the Catcher... Ah the good old days 👍
In that magical 1993 season that ALMOST saw the Giants make the postseason (103 wins and watched the playoffs on TV), Williams had a 2-HR game on April 18. The second one came after an improbable four-run ninth inning comeback to tie up the game at 12 apiece. I was an ice cube in the left field bleachers watching an actual hotdog wrapper tornado that seemed to just never stop. That place was pure magic.
