Mattapoisett Bike Path Extension April 28 2023 GPS VERSION 

THE BIKE PATH IS NOW OPEN INTO MATTAPOISETT VILLAGE
"Today is that special day - April 28, 2023 - we've been waiting for. The next phase of the bike path is now open for you to come out and enjoy.
This thirty year effort to connect the center of Fairhaven with Mattapoisett village is now complete. Work continues to connect on into Marion.
Come out and enjoy and thanks to the many many many people over the years who have worked on this project. I'm proud to have played a role and helped whenever I could." Bill Strauss - State Representative
The new path extension known as the Phase 1B project starts at Reservation Road (near Camp Massasoit) by Goodspeed Island and ends at the Park and Ride on North Street.
