Good review man and decent looking set. I don't really NEED this in my collection but I kind of wanted it. The capes bit does look really weak. Before you mentioned anything you can clearly see something was up with that. The wall mounting display base kind of makes up for it though. That does look truly badass.

I agree with the wires. I cut the tags off and kept them on the rope with the bands left on the hands to keep them held better.. The capes look ok as long as u keep them climbing the wall.

The last stitch on one side of Bats cape came undone and it just fell out. Looks like I may be able to loosen the other one and place them back later if I need to. These guys will be perfect for sitting in the Batmobile.

The wires aren't attached to the figures - you can bend them to shape the cape, otherwise they are basically weights for just that reason. It would have been nice if they were attached to the neck you could pose them running - Dan talked about this in the vid.

Only two actors who played Robin wore tights. John Duncan. In 1949's " Batman and Robin". And Burt Ward, on "Batman" 1966. Yes. Robin wore tights in these two productions " Batman and Robin" 1949, Columbia pictures serial.

One thing I think would be cool is if after they make all the different characters from the show, they made the 60s actors in comic costumes. Like doing a retool of batman to make a new 52 Adam West Batman, or a Burt Ward Nightwing.

If you bend the top of the wires to contour with their shoulders, the capes will sit down nicely over their shoulders. I could have done without the wires, too, though.

That's all you can really do with them as they are only attached to the sides of the cape - with no fixed point to the figures they basically act as weights for the capes.

I might be able to look past the capes, but I can't look past the tags. I've never been crazy about the idea of cutting off the tags. Let's hope they'll release a single carded Robin.

I don't see anything wrong with the cape. I don't have this set but still. Everyone is complaining. It is probably the best part of the set in my opinion.

Such a great set. I loved the t.v. series and I thought that Burt Ward's version of Robin is the ONLY good live action Robin to date in my opinion. The details on these figures are pretty much spot on and they really bring out the iconic likeness in both Adam West and Burt Ward. I also got the Riddler because not only is he one of my favorite villains, but imo, Frank Gorshin is the ONLY good live action Riddler.

Yep I will be takin the wire out of the capes! I noticed your Batman had a hole in the cape was that from packaging or a quality control issue?

I'm pretty sure the wires are so you can bend the cape to look like it's hanging when they are climbing the building horizontally. Like the show.

Hmm.. The capes seem really dodgy. Really want to order this set, especially for Robin, but will hold off for the time being.

Tags... really? Tags?! Um... hey! NECA's 1/4 Batman is looking pretty good!... But really, these are a letdown. May or may not get them now. It would be neat if Mattel would round off the Live Action Batman Suits with a 6 inch Keaton, and if they want to, The Forever and Clooney suits...

I'm watching this in 2020 and commenting @Pixel Dan, doesn't it look obvious that both the capes are wired, because they're ONLY supposed to climb a wall, and not to just stand?! I mean, come on. You see it inside the box, that they were climbing, didn't you?!

OMG! those tags! why oh, why do they have big ugly tags sticking out of there capes? With this and the wires, lets just say, Mattel has been around long enough to know better then this!
