Juan Leon I am writing in Portuguese and using a translator into English , if something goes weird , sorry . I'm downloading your video and then I will extract the audio for my students and myself can use it as a reference in our studies . Nice work and musical performance . It's great to hear you playing guitar.

Moro bem no interior e é difícil encontrar alguém tocando o violão dessa forma, Obrigado.

+Eduardo Knaip I only have three recordings of Carcassi. This one, the long one, and Op 60. There are more sections in Op 59 which I haven't recorded. For example there are scales and little preludes for some keys, there are exercises in the most important positions (fourth, fifth, seventh, ninth, I think, I don't remember), exercises in intervals, slurs, appoggiaturas, etc. I haven't recorded those yet. Maybe in the future. I don't know. (there's a guitar player who is recording almost the whole of Op 59, lesson by lesson, check him out, his name is Norbert Neunzlig) At least the method is still on my desk. Again, thank you for your words and sorry for my not being able to answer in portuguese.

Thanks, Juan. Yours videos are a great inspiration to me. I'm studying the same méthode e I'm looking for a video or recording about one of the andantinos presents in this book. It can be founded in page 104, I think. Have you any video about this song? Thanks again!

+Eduardo Knaip Great question. I'm right-handed so I don't have that problem, thanks God. I've seen some electric guitar players pulling off the trick (some just take a regular guitar, rearrange the strings and start playing, some even learn to play it without changing the order of the strings!!!) But the fact is, and it's my opinion, that I really don't know how left-handed guitar players force themselves to learn to play the guitar as though they were right-handed. I once tried to play the electric guitar as a leftie, the way Michael Batio does (I just changed the order of the strings in my regular right-handed guitar), but soon I realized it was unnatural and called it quits. Fortunately nowadays there are left-handed classical guitars on sale. Just check out the internet. But if you can't get one, I would seriously seek advice from the local luthiers. Maybe they can fix the bridge and make some minor adjustments to your right-handed guitar and after changing the order of the strings, voila, you have a classical guitar for a lefty. Now, let me be clear: With hard work everything is possible, so I don't deem it that far-out for a leftie to learn to play the guitar with his right hand, but it will certainly take him/her a hell lot of extra time (particularly for classical guitar) , and let's be honest, a piano is not a guitar. With the piano we don't have any chances, whereas with the guitar... anyway, let me know what you think. Greetings.

@JuanLeon-oe2gr
@JuanLeon-oe2gr 8 лет назад

Thak you again for your answer to me. I think Andantino in A is not the same music that I'm looking for. Maybe I have to play this music and post here on RU-vid or send to you in mp3 (God and Carcassi forgive me...). There is a good razon for this. I'm studying this song, but I have many doubts about it yet. If I could hear someone plays it, it would help me to do it better. Thak you again.

Hola! Desconozco otras versiones. Saludos y gracias!!!!!

Gracias y bienvenidos tus comentarios!! Saludos!!!
