As a guy playing guitar for almost 50 years, l can say this is the most amazing and talented guitarist I've seen and heard in my lifetime. Note selection, feel, accuracy, speed. And the style is borderline miraculous. ( The fingers as a pick the way he's doing it .........like a bass player and flamenco combined...) It really is otherworldly. And this is my favorite song to date. Buddy of mine said he's a youtube sensation. I said " no, he's a planet earth sensation. And dont think all the current greatest living guitarists arent saying the same things. This kid is a once in 100 years talent. Bravo, Matteo. ( Applause...) Keep on doing what you do. In the meantime......anyone want to buy any or all of my 11 guitars before l throw them in the garbage? ( Thanks for that, too, Matteo.....lol....) ...;)

I really hope that everyone that watches this is aware that we're currently seeing the next big guitarist of this planet

I'm spoiled rotten by decades of listening to greats like Hendrix, Fripp, Beck, Page, Zappa, Belew, Reid, and what have you. It's such a joy to see the new generation of players actually making sense out of the guitar, Thanks!

He's got it all... Unbeatable technique, amazing sound, and fantastic writing! He's on his way to doing great things... I've never seen anything like him in action. Such speed, such ease, and such total control, with a technique that makes my jaw drop every time...

Man what I love most is the clarity of the quick lines they make wonderful musical sense nothing wasted !

Non esito a dire che Matteo é l'orgoglio italiano per eccellenza. Un gusto, un fraseggio, una completezza sotto ogni livello. Questo ragazzo rivoluzionerà la chitarra moderna. Sono sicuro che ha ancora enormi margini di miglioramento. Anche se ad oggi é tra i migliori talenti al mondo. Forse il più cristallino. Nel contempo rimane sempre di una grande umiltà. Musicalmente non credo che avrà rivali a breve.

So sweet starts out with chorus, goes into an awesome verse then repeats chorus with octaves. Then solos over verse section. Incredible tune.

His style is so clean and so effortless.... I stopped progressing with my learning years ago. But this kid is so good he makes me hope for another life where, next time, I will take the time to work both hands correctly and learn the theory and scales to master this fun and amazing instrument far better than I did this time around so far. Mi stupisco di fronte al fatto che miriadi di musicisti, senz'altro dotati tecnicamente, ma anonimi nello stile e quasi privi di musicalità, vengano osannati , mentre un talento come Matteo non gode della popolarità che meriterebbe. Lo dico, per altro, da non appassionato di fusion (un genere, in tutta sincerità, da me detestato): dinnanzi a una bravura tanto evidente, cadono tutte i distinguo e le barriere. Sicuramente uno dei migliori chitarristi di musica moderna in circolazione.

Matteo, ogni volta che guardo un tuo video rimango esterrefatto, non solo per la tecnica che mi affascina, quanto per la facilità con cui riesci ad esprimere delle melodie stupende, un tipo di improvvisazione che ho visto fare solo a pochi "eletti", Holdsworth era uno di questi. Fatti valere sempre e ti auguro veramente di avere tutto ciò che meriti, perchè in questo paese, di musicisti così incredibili, non ce ne sono. Pezzo raro.

This is my favourite work of yours so far, Matteo! I know music is subjective, but I love the style in this composition, the beautiful chords (with the dreamy atmospheric effects), the warm tone on your lead, the unison doubling of certain lines, the bursts of speed, the bluesy lines, the way you outline the changes so wonderfully. I love the tasty Mixolydian outro section, it's just a beautiful demonstration of your creativity.
