I wish that when I was actually cheated on, I would have had the grace Joseph showed. Unfortunately, I was not very Christian about it. I'm so glad I'm a better person today. Thank you Pastor Paul. Same. I've cheated, been cheated on; before I came to Christ. But accepting Jesus into my heart and surrendering my life to Him has CHANGED me and transformed me. He has set me free from the penalty of sin and the power of sin! I have been able to forgive the people who have abused me, hurt me, cheated on me, and repented for my sins and received the forgiveness of God. Thank you JESUS!

Thing is we can't. We need to humble ourselves and admit we can't. Our natural instinct go the selfish whoa is me attitude. We must ask Jesus to help us not react instinctively. We need him to help us make better choices

Love is expressed by Obedience..... The scripture is so full of wisdom, and relating with the situation of Joseph having to take Mary has his wife even with the pregnancy which was out of wedlock in our times and generation showed the sacrifice he paid with his reputation being at stake! But in all the word of God says that all things work together for good to those who love God( by obeying him)....God bless you Pastor
I like the teaching. Still I have to say. This building that contains a part of the body of the real "church", uses music to set a mood. This mood setter is a basic of a lot various congregations. It plays in the back ground ( kind of loud actually, I must be getting old. ) both at the beginning and end. I fail to understand it's purpose? It is actually to me very annoying. Maybe there is a good reason. Can you help me understand?
I wonder how he learned she was pregnant because my understanding is that that year was basically a time when the woman would prepare and gather all of her household things and the man would work on building or finding the home. Did a family member tell him? Evidently, she did not tell him because she would have explained about the angel coming to her.

Yes I have been using the ESV to read from on biblegateway to follow along with Pastor Pauls other teachings, but when I try to follow with the ESV on this video it doesn't match up very well, it seems to be more closer to NIV, a few words different on NIV but not many, but with the ESV a lot is different. Yes I have tested it with Matthew 2 and 3, it seems to be NIV. I was thinking all NIV were exactly the same word for word, got me confused a bit. Thanks again for the Bible Study lessons and to be honest it is much more than just lessons, Pastor Paul shares the Gospel in such a wonderful way, very easy going and full of wisdom. hi Just a question was Joseph not betrothed and married when. The Spirit and God came and made Mary pregnant? ? Luke 1 ; 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary." And. Mathew 1;18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.". And verse 19And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. We see Mary was bethrothed and had a husband as seen in the two verses above. Now Matheew 1; 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus. Here we see that Joseph was alredy married. And then woke up and did what the Angel said to him and "he took his wife", (had sex with her) and then Never had sex with her during her pregnacy. If Jesus was NOT from Joseph Seed, HOW could he be of the Seed of David? HOW could all Old Testament Prohecies be filfulled which says Jesus was fro$ the loins of Abraham and from the Seed of David ? Are all the prophecies incorrect? Never came true ? IF Jesus was NOT from the Seed of Joseph then He was not a JEW ? Trubling thougjts. Why does the bible keep on trfering Mary and Joseph always as Kesus parents! Luke 2;33 his mother and father. Luke 2;41. His parents went to jerusalam every year 2:43. Jesus stayed behind his parents never knewYour father and I have been looking for you. Why did Jesus have to came "Humanity sinned so human must pay the price." Jesus had to come in human form. The bible says he came completely man. What is completely man like all other human? Man and Worman have sex get a child ? At His baptism God says "today I have begotten you." WHY today at that point? Acts 13 : 33 this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, "'You are my Son,today I have begotten you.' So many unansered questions why? If christians do not understand how they are naturally born, then they will be confused when they read Mathew 1 and Luke 1. +mario barroso Hi Mario. Mary and Joseph were "betrothed" at the time when Mary became pregnant through the Holy Spirit, but they were not yet married in the full Jewish sense of the word. In Jewish culture a couple became betrothed (engaged) and were considered "husband and wife" even before the marriage took place. In fact, the betrothal was SO binding that it required a divorce to break it. This is what Joseph was considering doing when he was told by the Lord to go ahead and take Mary as his wife...in other words, to complete the marriage. However, we are told that they withheld themselves from any sexual relations until AFTER the birth of Christ. Confusion can sometimes occur when we attempt to understand Jewish marriage from the perspective of how our own culture does it. But Jewish marriage was quite unique in the ways described above. When Luke lists the genealogy of Jesus he wrote: When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph...Luke 3:23 (NASB) The Greek phrase here literally means, "As it was being thought." Luke is explaining that the people ASSUMED that Jesus was the son of Joseph, but that was merely the natural assumption since Mary was clearly told that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and the conception would be of supernatural origin. So, no, Jesus was NOT born of the seed of Joseph.
