Docscience2 no it is not ignored; it is better understood by those with the Holy Spirit, because it is the Holy Spirit who gives us understanding. Please finish the rest of that scripture. What is ignored is THAT part; "till all is fulfilled". While Yeshua walked the Earth, He was under the old covenant, His Father's covenant (written law); the new covenant could not yet come until the shedding of Yeshua's blood according to scripture in the book of Hebrews. When Yeshua said, "it is finished" on the cross, that is when "all is fulfilled". He was speaking of the fulfillment of the prophecy. The coming Messiah to take away the sins of the world. The NEW covenant began AFTER the shedding of His blood. It is no longer a physical keeping by written law; Yeshua did away with dealing with the flesh. It is now by the Spirit. He prayed the father to send the comforter, the Holy Spirit, after His Resurrection so that He could come to dwell within us; to lead us, to guide us, to comfort us, to keep us in His commands. The day of Pentecost was the first baptism of the Holy Spirit and it IS the new covenant. Baptism in His name and in the Holy Spirit. Under the new covenant, "the gospel is NOT WRITTEN WITH INK, but on the fleshly slabs of our hearts". It is the Lord who keeps us in His commands by the Holy Spirit, it is not of our own works, lest any man should boast. Sadly, many boast. People ignore the end of that scripture you quote "till all is fulfilled" and forget that of course the law had to still be kept till the shedding of our precious savior's blood.

Docscience2, also, what version are you reading that says "than the law to fail" that is not correct. The physical keeping of the law DID fail and that was the purpose of our Messiah coming to redeem us and reconcile us back to the Father. If you are strictly reliant on the written law of your own physical works, than you do not need Christ; is that what you're saying? Do you not obey the commands of the Lord by the Holy Spirit? Does your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees and scribes? Have you kept the whole law physically, and in thought, and heart? If so, have you sold all your possessions to show the Lord you need nothing of this world, that you need only follow Him? Are you the living story of the rich man who kept the law but still would not follow Christ? Yeshua did not come to save the livestock from being sacrificed...
