exchanges that bad should not be happening at that level. They should be embarrassed. That fact that hey still won with a terrific time shouldn’t make them complacent. A better exchange could shave aight to a quarter of a second off that time.

Best 4x400 team and now best 4x200 team? Georgia has a serious change of winning the National Championship as a team on the mens side if they keep runing like this. Godwin could win the 400m Matthew Bowling could win the 200m they win the 4x4 and 4x2 and Sumner could get points in the 800m for them. Other runners could come into play, but those are the ones that come to mind first.

Noticeably bad hand-off between UGA's third and fourth leg;otherwise an amazing effort and time.I was even more impressed by UGA's 4×400m 2:58:82.I genuinely believe they've got a real chance for not just an NCAA Title in that but for the all time NCAA record in the event set just last year by the Gators.It's conceivable they could touch the 2:57's if everything is just right.

He's really not though. Indoors he only ran 7 races before SECs and NCAAs which is by far not a lot considering he only did one individual and one relay at those meets which makes the load even lighter. On top of that this legit was his season opener for outdoors. He only ran THREE races, all relays over a span of TWO days which is more than enough recovery. the 4x1, the 4x2, and the 4x4 again over a span of TWO days. He never ran the open 100 or the open 200 so I have no idea where you made that all up from. This is also very common to open up the season for an elite level sprinter with relays. They literally only have 4 meets before SEC's and NCAAs which are back to back weekends so I don't get where you talk about him being burnt out in three weeks. He needs to be race ready and again he ONLY ran one meet this outdoor season with the US champs and Worlds this year he can't afford to not be in top shape come championship time.

@@kennethcoleman1378 My friend, I'm not making things up; I observe. Did you see his schedule last year? Even the way he ran races? If you really are interested in MB, you would know better. I am a fan and would not like him to vanish off the scene. Go research Michael Johnson, see how he pace his races. Listen and watch Wade Van Niekerk, and how he also made changes to his race, even after breaking the World 400m record.
@paultoy9611
@paultoy9611 Год назад
@@sbok9481 I share your concern but it does appear SO FAR this year UGA hasn't muled Boling nearly as much.I believe UGA OWES BOLING to give him his best chance at an NCAA OUTDOOR INDIVIDUAL TITLE before he leaves by not using him dry before the Regionals and Finals.He's been an ultimate team runner that's sacrificed two excellent national teams opportunities which turning pro would've given him.The last two years he's competed in fifty plus events in twenty one forty plus events last year(winter then spring seasons) before he even got to the USA trials.This year it's been less and I think they owe it to him to keep it that way.
@kennethcoleman1378
@kennethcoleman1378 Год назад
@@sbok9481 You are literally comparing PROFESSIONAL athletes(400m runners at that when Bolings race is the 200 not the 400 so idk why you are doing that) with collegiate athletes who are being paid by their schools to compete there. Boling is a student athlete not a pro, he doesn't run for a living yet thus he does not have all the time in the world to just train and race when it's convenient or the right time. Literally Abbey Steiner ran 10 times more races than he did last year and STILL became the US champ and made the world championship team and won two gold medals and didn't "vanish off the scene" Same thing goes for Elijah Godwin HIS ACTUAL TEAMMATE at Georgia who raced the SAME amount of races as he did and still made the US team last year and won multiple world championship medals. You clearly didn't observe enough, he only had 5 meets last year before champs where he legit only ran FIVE individual races before SEC's and NCAAs, I get you're a fan but you literally have no argument here if anything Boling was under raced last year.
