This was at Texas Frightmare Weekend 2016. Matthew Lillard's booth was the last one we were attending for the evening, and he was extra special nice to Sarah!
well, stuart macher is a psycho, William Afton is honestly terrifying because of how realistic he is in terms of what he did and how evil he is, I wouldn't say the most evil in fiction but definetaly something to fear if they were real and you came face to face
Hes been many evil people. William Afton (his most recent character he's playing) is a very evil character (especially in the lore). Kill SO many children and controling them all because his youngest son was killed by his business partners creation. (Fredbear.) There's your daily FNAF lore.
@@Shy1998 no ik that, he did great in scream and while he is an all around excellent actor in whatever role he is playing, but at the same time there are a lot of people who recognize him mostly as Shaggy. While it wasn't actually the role that made him famous it is a role that he is probably most well known for
I mean, I'm no actor, but if you are talented that way, I'd imagine playing the villain is probably the most fun part to get in a movie. I'd 100% pick to play the villain over the hero if I could act XD
It’s sad how dirty Warner Bros. did him when they didn’t even offer him the part for Scoob. He’s the only person capable of replacing Casey Kasem. Comes naturally to him.
Same for all the characters tbh. All they did was hire some washed up celebrities to voice the gang instead of the people that actually sound like the characters. Smfh. Scooby's voice is on point tho I'll give em that.
@@Rinesmyth Frank Weller *is* the only original cast member in Scoob but he was Fred not Scooby at that time. He was also the original Dyno-Mutt and he was replaced there, too.
Love when actors embrace the characters who made them popular instead of just rejecting them or getting angry when people associate them with said character.
This actually made me laugh. Seeing him do that voice years on is surreal and also heartwarming that he’s trying cheer a kid up with it. My god he’s such a wholesome dude.
It takes a lot of talent to be an evil murderer one minute and then a lovable goofball the next. Love Matthew lillard, he killed it as William afton (pun intended lol.)
That is because sex tapes, bad behaviour and acting a dick sales more and therefore love the media around them and earning them money, this guy is wholesome and is a nice guy all around and they don't care about that
One of my friends said she met him but he walked past all pissed off, 2 minutes later he walked back to them and apologized and offered autographs and pictures. He's human but actually going out of his way to rectify something he thought was wrong is awesome and shows his humility
@@samuelhaverghast2442I didnt know it was possible to make Shaggy mad…oh wait…it was probably the camera man. Hes the only guy who can beat Shaggy’s power.
Same thing with Grey DeLisle, she's voiced Daphne for decades and they cut her from "Scoob" because she wasn't famous enough. They kept Frank Welker as the voice of Scooby but cast someone else as Fred, despite the fact that he has voiced that character since 1969. Total horseshit.
There was a rock group that laid on the ground because a fan was autistic and he was laying on the ground. I always thought that was super sweet if them.
What reference am I missing? I keep seeing comments about him not using his full power, or only using .000001%, and I don't get it, I'm lost 😂. Can someone fill me in please?
@@tacticalglizzy7437 Truly! He’s such a great guy, I hope I get to meet him one day, I watched the Scooby Doo movies about a billion times when I was little
I got to see him in Orlando at Spooky Empire Con.. he did the same thing for a little girl who was deaf.. he got down to her level and with her parents behind her helped him sign to her.. He also was really into wanting to know his sons baseball game he had to miss for the Con.. he was very polite , joked with us fans in line.. He has my full respect as a human and as an actor
The fact that he sat on the floor at a lower level than her eyes so she wouldn't feel intimidated by his height shows a great respect for the little girl, any time I see adults speaking with kids at eye level I have big respect for !
He’s great in everything he does. He was AMAZING in this FX drama show called The Bridge that went 2 seasons. Really good show that deserves viewing. Matthew isnt a main character but he is featured every episode
@@pdot8659 Agreed, that's why I WON'T watch it. They had an awesome opportunity to use him and make the movie really nostalgic for the older audiences whilst bringing something new to both older and newer fans. Not to mention, what better way to honor the very first shaggy (R.I.P) by using Mat. 🙄🤦♀️
@HolyFurryFish1998 yeah its Scoob! I think it's pretty good imo you just have to keep in mind *it's a kids movie* it's also got alot of Hannah Barbara characters too😁
Mathew Lillard seems like a cool guy to meet. He was made to play the role of Shaggy from the live action Scooby Doo movies, and as William Afton in the FNAF movie. 😱😀👍
@@youvandal411vm that would be me as a celebrity tbh just with a lot of my face hidden if I was in that universe where I was popular just vibing at Aldi with a hoodie on xd
I met Matthew Lillard last year and he is literally the most down to earth guy ever. There was a kid in front of me that had wanted to meet him forever because his character in SLC Punk had changed his life. He told Matthew the story and gave him a big hug. The kid tried to pull away from the hug and Matthew refused to let go. He knew this moment meant a lot to him, you could tell. He truly loves his fans very much. I was amazed by his compassion. Great guy
This man is the salt of the earth. I was lucky enough to meet him at a horror convention and honestly I was so scared to meet him and he just gave me a hug and made me laugh the whole time and he did a Q&A with Skeet Ulrich too and one of the questions for him was "what has been/is your favourite role to play?" And straight away he said Shaggy. He loves to play Shaggy, to bring joy to children and adults alike and make them laugh, he just loves it so much. He's so wonderful.
Do you know how often he does conventions? I missed out on the opportunity to meet him when he came to my state and I'm worried he might never come back
@@theboundless05 I'm sure you will get the chance again, when he came to the one I went to he said him and Skeet especially tour around the world doing conventions together and they love it so no doubt you'll get your chance ☺️
I met him a couple months ago at one of those rushed conventions where you have to pay a shit ton to have five seconds and a picture. I walked in, introduced myself a little, and told him I'd never been to a convention before and that I was really nervous. He told me i was doing great and gave me a hug, even let me just have it for a moment before they took the picture. I walked out of there crying.
"Zoinks, Scooby Doo, remember when I told you that I killed about a dozen people while wearing a costume and mask inspired by a painting and died but then resurrected? Well I also killed 5 kids and stuffed them in animal suits and now they're mad at me, please help!"
Buttsex & Chill Casey Kassem was first and before He took on the role he told the producer's im not voicing Shaggy untill Casey kassem can no longer do it anymore because he knows how much of a big deal it is to basically take away a persons role like that and he knew that and did it the right way With RESPECT Unlike what we have today just look at the PowerPuffGirls reboot those S.o.b's didn't give a fck and didnt say shit to the original voice actresses total disregard for the Original ladies that made those characters come alive and loved those characters Unbelievable! Another reason why t.v. is going into Complete SHIT
We all know where this is going... He will put a yellow rabbit suit and then lurk the Sarah into a room... To voice Shaggy again ! (The one in the comment who think he will do the same stuff that in the fnaf movie... You're a Monster, Matthew has a Big Heart ❤)
@@knightghost1782 agreed. I mostly hated the cast in the film. Why use original voice actor of fred to do scooby but not his original character. Ridiculous
@@mrkrabs4959 yeah but the truth is there are celebrities who don't care about their fans. Look what happened to Katie Cassidy and another actress who played Gypsy on the flash. Gypsy was fired from The Flash because she was disrespectful towards a fan. Katie Cassidy was killed off on season 5 of Arrow because she was suspended until further notice mostly because she was a f****** b**** towards a fan at Comic-Con for no reason... or even that MMA fighter Ronda from the movie Expendables 3 she was nasty towards a fan just because he asked for an autograph she basically wouldn't sign it because she wanted to get paid first...
He said in a interview that this is he favorite character not only that he did but in the cartoons it's how he nailed the voice he would never miss it as a kid plus he binged it to perfect the voice
And this is why i absolutely cherish the live action Scooby Doo movies. Because when you bring together the most awesome talented people, you get pure magic
+RJL Productions On the way home she was telling me that he must have had a voicebox under the table to do Shaggy's voice. I told her "no, sweetheart, that really was the person who played Shaggy, and that really is his voice." Her eyes got really big and she smiled; it was so cute.
Haha this was really cute. He's a great guy! I met him at Monstermania in March. Why was she upset? Because he wasn't wearing his Shaggy costume and he had a mustache and goatee?
+Joe Gibney she was really tired. it was the first day of the convention and it was waaaay after her bed time. She still talks about getting to meet Shaggy, and now is getting her little sister into Scooby-Doo.
just checked to see if anyone had commented it and you were closest was gonna say Matthew Lillard would have been an amazing cast for pennywise judging by this video alone
I love "Sarah's are the best!!" But "it's hard being Sarah"?! is that a good thing to say? I like the consoling that it's a long night etc, but blaming her weariness as "being Sarah"? I likely don't understand as it's just a short bit of time here, but I'm sure being Sarah is going to be great and tougher experiences aren't her fault. Matt was awesome and wonderful to see her face light up for a moment!
