There’s something comfortable about the bad camera resolution, the weird delays between camera angles, and the way they just seem so genuinely happy with each and every gift. Simpler times
holy shit i stumbled back onto this by accident bc it turns out they read my letter on the stream??? i didn't even know the letter ever made it to them??? i'm gonna cry???
I DM a (far too large) group of critters here in England and they insisted i use "How do you want to do this?" in our games. one of the heroes in the group is a cleric of Mercer (Yes Matt you are now and always will be a god)
How can you even tell an 11 year old that they don't have talent? They haven't had a chance to develop their talent yet.You know that it is time to retire when...
Thank you so much for posting these. Periscope is cool and all, but it can be really inconvenient to try to catch them, or to watch them in time. I really appreciate you posting the videos!
+1234kalmar what do you mean? We just upload periscopes and panel video's made by The community. In case you were wondering, we do have permission to upload both the periscopes and the panel footage 😊
Critical Scope I was wondering where these videos come from, but then I realised this was probably some live stream, and you uploaded it later :D Thanks a lot for it!
Watching Matthew Colvilles tips, world building and story time about his games and players got me interested in D&D, from being a more Scandinavian Style of RPGamer, and lead me to eventually start watching Critical Role as well. His tips, insights, historical D&D knowledge and thoughts are indeed amazing to take part of, no matter if you're playing mainly D&D or other RPGs. PS: That oil and gold leaf painting was absolutely beautiful!
Matt walking through the house in the first 5-10 minutes feels like some Alice inWonderland Labyrinth stuff. With the angle and the bright lights, you can't really get any idea of the layout. :D it's just another door to another room to another door to another room like some endless tunnel
30:10 That teacher deserves a serious beating and after that I'd get that teacher fired from this job and every job they'd ever get for the rest of their life after that. There's a special place in hell for someone who does that to a kid.
It's understandable that Matt never found one. A four leaf clover is a mutation, and groups of four don't usually occur in nature, groups of three or five are much more common.
Thanks Critical Scope. I'm wondering about the game cards, does the girl have an etsy store or the like, where one could purchase Critical Role decks? I would also love to see the Vox Machina emblem on a deck of cards. I'm SOOOOOOOO JELLY of the Kit-Kats
"Who's this from?" ...um look at the label... "the box is upside down" ...looks at other side with TOP written all over, "no it's not" ... my forehead strikes desk repeatedly. Much love!!
+Yenatic they show it on periscope, which is an app to stream (and to watch streams) live from your phone. Matt tweets when he does one @matthewmercer. Other cast members that have been streaming on periscope are Liam @voiceofobrien and Taliesin @executivegoth
i wanna know all the characters on the playing cards. she only showed the spades, and i'm sure the other face cards were different, based on the letter.
3:25 after looking up the wizards of the coast store stracker i found .... there are no stores near me within 50km (according to the trackers there were 3 but in the actually store they didnt sell dnd stuff ;( .. also miniaturemarket has 44$ mailing cost)
1:32 I just got done watching the VoD of that on the G&S Twitch channel, and it was hilarious. I highly recommend it if you don't mind having to sub: www.twitch.tv/videos/64117955
The EIJ game with Liam, Matt and Grant with Ivan as the Johnarrator is available the Geek & Sundry ("GeekandSundry") Twitch VOD archives (subcribers only). Exact title is "TableTopDay: Everyone is John", 1 hr 37 mins duration. I think I've only ever seen very brief clips anywhere else.
+Ironmann199 you can find them here: mobile.twitter.com/matthewmercer/status/723444166328344581 Also check out the critical role subreddit at reddit.com/r/criticalrole
I’m a year too late to join in on the conversation RIP . I’m real into BJD painting and general making of them. I could use some tips cus I wanna make a more rustic looking one and not so weebish
