Stafford has helped Detroit so much. Not only did he give us 12 fun years (unfortunately no playoff wins) but he also got us half our new starters when we traded him. Lol

Ill say this, Matt is an amazing QB and as tough as they come, dude was totally knocked out cold that game and sprung right back into the game, also very smart for getting up pretending it was his shoulder😂. I love Stafford, he gave us Lions fans every bit he had every single game. He was worth tuning in for. It was a sad day when we traded him away. Little did we know that this trade was going to be the start of something amazing. Thanks for the great years Matt.

I am glad I got on this thread and watched the video. After watching many episodes of the game, this one is by far the best. I REALLY appreciate the comments from some of the Lions fan who are respectful, something I didn't read in the other threads and something I didn't believe because of the way SOME fans booed Stafford and his family. I just have to remind myself there are cocky fans on every team, so congrats to the Lions for their win. VERY proud of my rams, taking the Lions to the ropes and not being blown out as the other wild card games ended up being. Super excited for next year. Thanks Rams for making this year special!

Im a Lions fan and I was worried when he got hit hard and went in the tent. Wish he could of won here but glad he got a ring. He was the first real franchise qb Detroit had in my life and was tough. His dislocated shoulder TD at end of a game is my favorite memory of him.

I Grew up and still live in Dearborn Michigan. I'm a life long Lions fan. I have always absolutely loved Matthew Stafford, and was so thankful to have had him as a Lion. I hated he couldn't see more success with the Lions and was so happy for his Superbowl win. There wasn't a more deserving person. He is an unbelievable quarterback, is tough as nails, is a total class act, and deserves to get his Hall of Fame jacket. Thank you Matt

(New) Lions fan here: I appreciate Matt Stafford. He did a fantastic job in Detroit despite how bad the team was as a whole. I was glad he got traded and he left the D with a lot of respect for the town and the town had a lot of respect for him. I think a lot of Lions fans were more than thrilled that Stafford won the Superbowl the first year away from the Lions. I know a lot of people who knew he was being held back at Detroit. Now, that being said, I'm glad he was beaten in this game. All the respect I have for him remains, but the Lions have caught fire like never before in the last 60 years. Whenever the Lions' season ends, the Lions have gained my respect that I had lacked for a long, long time.
