You know something? Not many people talk about this game. I say TaleSpin is an underrated gem. Well, it's no Darkwing Duck or Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers on NES but I say this is worth a playthrough if you enjoy a challenge. This was recorded back in 2020 during the pandemic. I was playing a ton of games and I wanted to record this. Glad I did! Most of the Disney games on NES were good! Some were not...

I had no idea that a TaleSpin game existed on the NES... at least until the Disney Afternoon Collection (which baffles me that due to the ill fated WiiU, Nintendo missed said collection... ESPECIALLY when ALL games of said collection are NES games), Collection rant aside, I got surprised that I got a lot of fun beating this hidden gem, especially while neglecting to use emulation shenanigans that the Collection offers to players (as on all platforms that the Collection made it's release, there's an achievement/trophy for beating each game in it's pure old school style... meaning no save states, no rewind or that kind of emulation shenanigans).

I didn't know either until I saw Derek Alexander/Stop Skeletons From Fighting. He thought it was garbage but I didn't think it was bad. I enjoyed it for how it works. I liked it better than the Sega Genesis version. I was gonna get the Disney Afternoon Collection digitally but I decided not to. I was happy with my NES Disney games I own in my collection.

@@Matt-Rat Yeah, in my case I had to get it as back then, my siblings traded most of those gems for not so great or pure garbage games... or due to desperate situations selling them for quick buck, but I'm glad I did as I discovered TaleSpin for NES while also remembering the other games... oh, and also Chip and Dale 2.
