Maui is a Downhill Skateboarding Paradise

thank you! seeing these areas on video again is wonderful. maui is magic. i was blessed to live out there 13-19 yrs old back in the early 90s. go to the beach, find waterfalls, & camp overnight somewhere. do that every other weekend. i will never forget maui and all the friends and family.

Normally,doing tricks with skateboard look fantastic. But they are cruising and.... they're look fantastic too.

I'm watching this just to reassure myself about the moovs to do. And I have a story about it: Last weekend, my boyfriend, my family, some friends and I decided to go camping, arriving in the evening my boyfriend and I found a long, steep road that was a bit winding, a little too much for me, because I'm really new to this, I'm a longboarder and my boyfriend has been rollerblading, longboarding and skateboarding for a long time. We go up this slope, and I was really not reassured but being motivated to ride with my boyfriend, I started. In the middle of the slope I start to lose control and my board starts to shake, so I lean and bend my knees to get better support, remembering that I don't have perfect balance and I don't know how to brake well. Arrived towards the end, I see a speed bump that I had not seen before, I start to take it, but I get off my board in full flight and then, black hole. I find myself 5 meters further on, in the arms of my boyfriend who is holding my head because I am losing a lot of blood, his hands are full of it. Forced to go to the hospital, result: 5 stitches in the skull, 2nd degree burn in the shoulder, huge wound in the knees, elbow, shoulder and back, trauma to the arm, shoulder and knees as well as sprained wrist. Moral: WEAR A HELMET, and if you really don't feel it because you're a beginner, don't. But, that was really funny and scary when I was on the road... Yeah after this that wasn't BUT still a lot of fun ✨

I know all the roads you guys were shredding. Lived upcountry for about 12 years in haiku, spent the last 3 years I was on Maui in napili. No other place like Hawaii in the world.

I live in Kona on the big island we do a lot of mountain boarding especially power kiting down old A,s Runway if the wind is in the right direction then we break out the kite buggys

I just realize the sidewalkerIs the most expensive board on landyachtz It kind of makes sense though because it’s pretty much made for everything like going downhill and doing tricks it’s pretty much downhill board mixed with a skateboard and longboard
