Maurice has had a special place for me ever since I first heard the Bee Gees. You can tell he was a gentleman through and through. I've always had a crush on him--even now, and it's 2020. God gave us perfection when He gave us the Bee Gees.
Jan Walters me too! No one truly realizes the HUGE part he played for the brothers. He was the genius, arrangements, composer, etc. The second song he wrote and sang with and for Adam and Samantha. ❤️🥰. My heart hurts every time I play this.

What a volume of masterpiece's the brothers have gifted their world with! I had my 1st guitar, learning to play in the 1960's immersed in music by Beatles, Stones, The Bee Gees, The Kinks, Dave Clark Five, along came The Doors & so many other great artists, The Bee Gees have always hover right there at the top for me. I love covering many of their songs at open mics just for the love of sharing music. If I do a cover, It's a tribute to them and an honor for me to sing their great songs. Indeed we missed Maurice and Robin. I feel sad each time time I watched their videos. Maurice was multi-talented...how many instruments he could play. I liked his voice. He was truly the man in the middle between Robin and Barry. So sad he died unexpectedly.
Maurice's passing shocked me more than Robin's since he was overall a healthy person...it happened like a snap of the fingers! :-( I very much miss him!

This first song alone shows the talent of The Bee Gees as song writers. Yes, everyone was trying to sound like the Beatles. But only The Bee Gees could easily do it, without anyone’s help. They could write their own songs and I have always felt Barry sounded like John Lennon when he sang. And their harmonies, perfection. The fact is, they WERE as good as the Beatles, period. And time has proven that to be true.

I grew up on their music. Happily they made me KNOW what good music was. What feelings and emotions can be invoked thru music. I love music to this day, 50 years later, supporting young actors and musicians, inspiring young people to follow their dreams as the Gibb brothers did. The music of the Bee Gees will live forever..... forever.
