I love this mo had a country soul. Even B arry said he and mo wanted do some country but robin was afraid of change. Thought it would ruin them. I beg the difference. They could sung anything they wanted. I loved all the Gibb brothers but mo was my favorite. Here he shows just how sweet, gentle, and pure his soul was. Miss you sweet mo. Rip Andy and robin too. N.a.JJ.
@Neita Hmmm?🤔 Could you Please post a 'link' to a video or an article where Barry says that Robin didn't want to include Country songs because he was afraid of change,....that Robin thought it would ruin them??? I have Never heard anyone else ever mention that, ...or ever seen where Barry has said That particular comment!!!
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 I’ve never heard that either. All the brothers were about change and adapting to whatever changes came their way. And all 3 brothers sang with Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell on a tv special!
If The Bee Gees would have recorded more country music, Mo would have sure been the lead singer. He certainly had the voice for it. This man only got more sexier as he got older. R.I.P Mo. Love you always ❤❤
Talent that is out of this world. These guys just put out more than anyone ever did. I wish they were all still here to keep giving us the best songs ever.. Maurice did not sing enough . He is soo good.
>>> CUCUMBER CASTLE (Barry & Maurice's soundtrack album from tv special) offers GREAT country flavour ..."Don't Forget To Remember", "Sweetheart" ...it's all (thankfully!) on YT !! Sooo, watch, laugh & cry, & be transported into that marvelous fantasy romp!!! Another obscure GEM is the song by Maurice from the movie, A BREED APART, "Hold Her In Your Hand"...ahhh, sooo sweet! Good Lord, thank you for the BEE💛GEES & their music, singly & collectively! It will ALWAYS live Joyously! waaay deep-down, through ev-ery part of my heart&soul! A n d then, ...fly me to the top, right-hand corner of my room . . . !!! Michele - 9/1/1949, RVA,USA - 10Jan.,2021
@@hazelkagey6739 Wow. You are the second BeeGee fan that has said they share the same year, as well as the same month and day of birth with the twins!! Verrry Cool!😉😎
@@Lelia7532 I believe thst Mo could have had a lead more often if he wanted but I firmly believe that Mo was happy to stay in the shadows and let Barry and Robin shine. He loved his brothers very much and knew they were competitive.
18 years have passed now and we miss Maurice deeply (January 12, 2021). Love this video. RIP sweet brothers Maurice, Robin and Andy. Their families must still be heart broken.
This wasn't rob, this was Mo. Although noone sang like either of them, nor Barry either. Each one had a amazing unique voice but together, now that was truly sublime. Something about Mo though! I love everything Mo 💖🎩💖
Lovely simple song that suits his voice perfectly. A pity his personality doesn’t come out in this performance but it was one of his first solo performances so he can be forgiven. This also has a terrific strings and drums arrangement by Gerry Shurey and Maurice repeating the style on the B side I’ve Come Back. The rest of The Loner doesn’t reach the standard of this record although the quality of the available recordings may be a contributing factor
