I watch this video almost every single day. No one as talented as Mr Maurice White. Hope he is enjoying Heaven to it's fullest as he certainly deserves it. Thank you Mr White for all you gave to so many of us.❤❤❤
I wish the RU-vid police hadn't taken down the original video for this song, it really made the song. I miss the 1980's, what a fun decade, we were trying to find ourselves, and be cool.
I have been searching the internet for that original video, which is such a great fun video. I was even beginning to think it was my imagination. But I don't understand what you mean about the Facebook police removing it. Whatever for? That video may be dated, but it is burnt in my memory. I really don't understand.
I prefer that other video with the woman in the sequined dress dancing with him in an alley. I think this Jane Fonda style dancer video is awful. Does anyone know the name of the woman in the sequined dress version? I believe she was a Playboy model.

A playback video obviously. Still searching of a real live version. The genious of this track is the arrangement and, the performances of Abraham Laboriel (bass) and Greg Phillinganes (keys). Without those this would´ve been forgotten. Now it still lives on. :-)
She was probably chosen by the producers of that italian television program ... Did Maurice even have his word to say ? He was in Italy to do that performance to promote his song, not sure if he had any artistic control over it the day he did it
He looked better when he shaved his beard and when he sported only a moustache, from late 1983 onwards ... It probably made him look "younger" (plus he obviously had hair implants done around that time, for : when you look photos of him even in the inner photo of album "Electric Universe" from 1983 [with Earth Wind & Fire], he was almost totally bald in the front part of his head)
I apologize for taking anything away from the master Mr. White but I never a fan of this video. I wish the original music video was uploaded. Simply can't find one. It's sooooo much better. The dancer from the original music video puts this one to shame. As far the music Maurice is a master whether it's an original or his take on a classic.

Only the late Andrew Woolfolk played saxophone in the group ... the Phoenix Horns were the horn section who worked with the group until 1982 but were never a part of Earth Wind & Fire
