After 31 years hosting his talk shows famous (and infamous) for their titillating topics, 83-year-old Maury Povich has announced his retirement, with the last original episodes of "Maury" airing this September. Povich and his wife, broadcaster Connie Chung, talk with correspondent Mo Rocca about their lives on- and off-camera.

35 years ago I met these two love birds at a dinner party in Boston. I was just a kid hired to wait at table. That night the hostess also asked me to cook, mix drinks and pass hor dourves. I over cooked the green beans. Something was said about the difficulties acquiring good help. Maury countered I’d be sufficient if I was triplets. 😂 Maury was charming and Connie was elegant. I remember that night like yesterday. So nice to see the love birds again.

Hat's off to Mr Maury for recognizing his mistakes what he did in his personal life and then to acknowledge it being humble. Adorable duo and funny too . I personally believe ' Having a good sense of humor and having the ability to laugh about things a lot and not being too serious does a lot of good in a relationship and in life and then having compatibility and respect and ZERO ego will definitely gives happiness and peace with no drama bitching and whining.

What a wonderful love story to end with! I am also just 5’ Asian-American, who is married to a tall, 6’3” man, Caucasian Scottish descendant, for forty- five years this year. And all that time our love for each other have not faded, in fact, it is a much deeper kind of love. I like that they are still in love too. They represent many of us who are out here but not famous, but in love deeply just like them. Good for both of them. May they lead a long and happy lives!❤️😊🍀

Current Affairs was the show back then. My goodness, they look great. I remember being shocked when I found out they were married because Connie Chung is so elegant and always appeared so serious and Maury was out with that crazy daytime talk show, but somehow they fit. I am so glad that you interviewed Maury Povich and Connie Chung. I admire both of them. I've been watching The Maury show for years and years, too many to count. I love Maury and I think he looks so handsome now at his age. Connie still looks the same, beautiful and funny. Thanks for posting this video online.
