They certainly looked the part. Though, Iceman was a bit taller than Maverick, still looked the part, made me want to watch Top Gun again.

I worked with a guy at Honeywell Aerospace that looked EXACTLY like Tom Cruise. It was bizarre! Same face, same stature. If you put a picture of Tom Cruise next to this guy you would think it was him.

I was working an air show at Luke AFB and got called Tom Cruise. LOL

No Val Kilmer is not healthy he's recovering from cancer. He almost couldn't do the movie maverick because he wasn't well.

I used to jump out of the Huey from a ROPE! Dope on a rope here buddy, AIR ASSAULT! The Huey was always my favorite. You haven't lived unless you've stood on the skid of a HUEY in the air!

It’s just for fun for a great movie…not real life…tribute to Naval Aviators. Don’t get so wound up. The movie shows that we would like to know more about Naval Aviators than what our government shares with us…which should be a compliment. Yeah…it’s not real like what the real pilots actually go through. I hope that goes with out saying. Enjoy some little pride in our fighting force, and in our country without getting worked out about it. Please.
