I did reach out and they have been awesome and i have a new crown and input gear on the way from them for free ... Ill shim it up and give it another going ... Thanks for stopping in 🔥
Rc driver had a problem with the bevel pinion gear not being seated on the shaft correctly due to the the screw was to long from factory not sure if this is what happened to yours .i own a hobby shop and can get this part do you want me to send you some not sure how much shipping and how long it is to get there .
@@PERTHWESTOZRC definitely needs to be shimmed beforehand..... If a first timer gets this and this happens it wont be nice ... I ran it out of the box to see and this is what happened 😅
Sadly it's the same as the earlier versions. I was disappointed the diffs didn't come filled with oil, but a blue kind of grease. Really wanted to get one of the latest version but after running the MT10 I just don't think it will compare.
To be honest from all the rc's ive had hpi have given me trouble with diffs a lot ... My savage until i replaced them with aftermarket ones ... The trophy truggy again aftermarket ones ... Now the maverick lol
Argh, bummer, especially the lack of spares... Try reach out to them, hopefully they will send you some on priority... Funny, I think I hard a funny sound from it, I just watched your first video, try go back and watch the run on road you did, it's got a ticking sound...
Well that stinks! That definitely looks like a issue with the car and not the run for sure. I could see if it popped a tooth or two could have been from the run like a hard on-power hit but this was just self destructing. Hopefully they can ship you a warranty one out or stock shows up quickly for you! Maybe the aftermarket will start cranking out replacements. Best of luck getting it back running and look forward to hearing how it all went and seeing it ripping around again!
Yes definitely, i didnt go hard on it at all Im really hoping someone starts making better quality hardened steel gears .... I did email them so lets see what they say
