Maverick Quantum flux XT first run on 2s and 3s lipo

The stock shock oil is really thick, i changed mine out to 65wt first. Then tried 80wt & went with that, suspension was much better & truck did not bounce around like it did with the stock shock oil. I also found doing a drop test on the bench the wheels would bounce up off the bench on stock oil. Changed to the 80wt oil & the truck is planted on the drop test. Great little truck for little money & 45mph out the box for a $210 truck is pretty fair speed, i would think 50mph is doable quite easy by going up a couple of teeth pinion.

I bought the Maverick quantum flux MT and had nothing but problems , bent stub axles , overheating esc . Great rc but don't bash it to hard !

What about the antenna? Should I put it in a little pin tube. or shove it down in the in the hole to make it smaller so it wouldn't be in the way.

Great budget rc thinking of getting one, even over the new quatum plus platforms dont think they are worth the extra £100 here in the uk

My battery runs out after 10-15 minutes after 5 or more hours of charging, how can I fix that

I've had good range with mine, unless I'm near the 5G mast. I'm wondering if you were near one. My range is as far as I can see - unless near the mast then it's 10 meters or so.

change to the 50wt shock oil and it should give a softer more plush suspension
