We gotta play by the rules now Sean. People literally have reported us to the police, DNR, and our sponsors for "unsafe" or "unbecoming" activity.... unreal.
I am just impressed with the testing you guys are doing. This was at the very top of my list of interesting tests. And yes, very shocked that it wasn’t faster with the bigger tires, with all that wheel spin on the X3. Thanks for the video guys, it was very helpful.
Great video was always. Glad I stumbled across you guys a few months ago. Granite I’ll never get rid of my four wheeler but kind of makes me want to get a side-by-side now.
Once again you show us why we watch this channel... Real friggin world testing, no special prep or perfect conditions! Just good honest feedback giving the consumer good info on future purchases! Keep it up fellas!!!
Bought a Polaris XP 1000 Turbo. Had a blast so far. Like the seating position much better. I can see so much better. The Can Am has a much more comfortable seat for sure. My machine is wicked fast.
That's going to be hella useful going forward! Can not wait to see how the new mods affect the real world performance on these machines! Thanks for doing what you do!
Super interesting results. Cool test. Skilled drivers, as well. I have my issues with Can Am’s visco-lock system...but there is no denying the vehicles performance, since you went stage 5 Evo / E85. Heck, even outa-the box, that thing is ah-weapon. It is always impressive to see Nick “let beast mode eat!” Turbo S is no slouch either...but the difference in tire performance is interesting. (between the two machines) Good content, as usual, guys. I’m into it.
Gotta say I love the sounds the x3's make are more enjoyable. The engine sounds smooth and definitely not rough. Did some pricing recently though and its hard to argue with the value of the standard turbo RZR. For sub 20k you get 168 hp and great suspension. Would be neat if you guys could pull off a base x3 vs base rzr turbo comparo if you haven't already.
Could you play with the clutch engagement on the x3 to get it to engage at a higher rpm? So let's say it would engage at approx. 5k rpm and you could hold the motor at 4k rpm and build boost
Great test. Need to compare Battlefields Turba S to the Sous's EVO Turba S. Keep up the great video's for all the people that love you and ignore the haters. Can the gps tracker be used for timing on the gauntlet?
I m so glad that Polaris countered Can Am with this XP Turbo S model. It looks better with the wider track than any other RZR model. It looks better than the Can Am, sounds better, and has a better ride and field of view. Let the Can Am vs. Polaris wars begin!!
Nice video Man . i see video for x3 with stage 3R get 0-60 in nearly 3.96 second but in different street . Some street coming slippy with tire and some of them it coming grip
Does sous turba power come on sooner than stock? Also, I'm guess Nick's power comes on sooner due to all the upgrades?... Those huge tires sound like a truck going by lol
nick you need to get a set of 31'' outlaws for beast mode would not be to good on the rocks but awesome in the dirt and mud. One of the if not the best atv / sxs tire ever made, or super swamper SX's would be good as well would like to see you run something better than the bighorns
i wanna see some videos comparing the turbos to the non turbos. looking at getting a Rzr or a maverick but don't know if the turbo R or the RZR turbo is worth the extra cash or not.
Wouldn't mind testing my buggy with one i think it does a 5.9 based on footage which isn't bad for 2wd on hard dirt road with kenda bearclaws I'll have to try some grass I reckon.
Tire slip is probably saving your belts and or other parts of the driveline. A smaller diameter tire with more width and rubber on the ground would help your pavement time but make your dirt times slower. The beast probably tops out over 80 mph so you'd want to bring that down closer to 70 to maximize acceleration. You would gain more top end acceleration at the cost of more slip off the line. Increase the contact patch with lower pressures and smaller diameter tires that are just as wide.
Big fan. Great video. Now that that's out of the way, why in the heck do yall pronounce asphalt "ash fault " lmao. Classic frickin Wolverine diggory dos bud 😎
I love how the blog tries to act like boy scouts in the beginning, "I'm gonna wear a helmet" "The road would be illegal". Then proceeds to launch the X3 and that sneaky beer flies off the back of it. XD Law Abiding status out the window lol
They may have been using the ECU readout to get those numbers. Regardless, the dragy is real so it is what it is. It still feels like a monster so I'm not complaining.
SXSBlog.com....as a long time fan of this channel, I would like to know if another channel is the result of the citations and complaints, cause if so we the fans need to voice our opinion to them. Great videos👍
Would like to see the sous machine as well mostly because I have the exact same tune haha (selfish I know ). Would be nice to see the difference between the 2 turbo s machines
I have no doubt bud you guys do it right!! my sxsblogparts/evo captains choice turbo back exhaust should be shipping any day. Can’t wait to see this thing with the evo sous tune and the rest of the parts perform like
Shes got some new weights already, and I got 32s sitting in Dougs garage. Truth be told my trailer isn't wide enough for the new wheelset and I'm fresh out of cash for a new trailer, lol
The suspension settings on the Terba S shouldn't have any impact on the performance numbers. The Dynamix system automatically stiffens the rear shocks for anything over 95% throttle input.
Thats awesome for a sxs come paired dollar for dollar with a car. Sub 5s for around 30 grand. A lot of thrill for the buck. And you can offroad it!!!!!!😎
5 seconds is not slow if anyone is thinking that, heres a good list of Sports and Exotic cars that run 5 second 0-60s www.zeroto60times.com/5-second-cars-0-60-mph-times/
SXSBlog.com yes i need to put down the cheddar for my wife's hi lifter ranger. Needs more horses to get her out the trouble, horrible to know she only gets 1/4 throttle even foot to the floor.
