02:00 - that transition was so perfect, better than my attempts! Short Range Blaster with Phasing Sequence is nice, hurts hull Trough shields. Really impressed with the fact you use sped ad spacing when shields go. I do love the courier but yeah, it's no tank. Awesome ground combat, I really need to sort my ground loadout, too much slow plasma in my gear - all Manticore! Seriously, great work.
Thanks about the transition, I really worked longer than I'd like to admit on it, I'm not completely happy with it but at some point you just have to let it live as is. Not to spoil part 2 but I do try a CZ in the courier again. Funny with the ground combat, as I was watching it I was thinking, I really need to get a plasma loadout going lol
Quite the contrast between space where you couldn't put a dent in anything and had to run away repeatedly, to the ground where you're running around like the doom slayer being fed a horde of zombies. I haven't bought the Odyssey dlc yet but that seems to be a little out of balance, I guess ground combat is not up to much. You seem to be having fun though and it's always cool to see someone create a story from footage. Well done.
@@Slamscape-X Yeah, they didn't look too bright, I mean one of them said "it's just you and me now" when clearly that wasn't the case lol. The space battle was medium intensity. Has Odyssey improved the game for you outside of ground combat at all? It's only £10 now over here by the looks so much cheaper than it used to be. I mainly like doing passenger missions.
@Timmy51m If the space was medium, I think I just got unlucky that the spec ops wouldn't leave me alone. I do enjoy exobiology, it's good money too. I mean I enjoy being able to leave the ship and walk around. That being said if it's on sale and you like elite already it's probably worth it. There are also some quality of life things in odyssey, like seeing a list of your missions and their distance in the galaxy map, there are others but I don't know them off the top of my head.
