The thing with Kidd is, he's always thinking longterm. You have coaches that want to win every possesion, so they will bench a player, because of one mistake or something like that. And that's good for that moment, but will kill the confidence of some players and even team chemistry. Kidd will just leave the players in and give them multiple chances, because that's how they'll stay confident and that's how chemistry is built. Everyone needs to be happy with their role. Opponent might get on a run at times, because of that, but longterm more players will be ready to play. So even role players like Green, Hardy or THJ won't be afraid of some big moment later in series or playoffs

Didn't get to watch the game, but had to be a great W for Mavs. Did see the boxscore with Thunder outscoring Mavs from 3. Luka & Irving looks to have had great games. Congratulations to Mavs. One at a time, one down three more to go.

That was a great game. Refs weren’t involved in a negative way and Mavs made their free throws for once which was important in the end. If we can clean up the turnovers a bit and make more 3’s we should be good. Luka looked like Luka for the most part tonight too and played good D when it mattered most. Wolves are going to come out swinging on Friday so I hope Mavs are ready.

I said this on twitter- I always forget Ant is only 6'4" because he usually looks bigger to me. But when he's matched up with Luka, he looks very clearly 6'4"

People are also forgetting that PJ hit more above the break 3s than corner 3s before coming to Dallas

Wolves defense was billed as the best of the last 20 years, yet I don't know if they have anyone who can guard Luka or Kyrie at all

Thought turnovers would cost us, but we suffocated them on defense to close out. If we limit those even more and if our threes progress toward the mean, we’re in business in a gentleman’s sweep at the least!

I think Anthony Edwards proves that aesthetics does not equal in shape. Luka is in much much better shape and conditioning for basketball than Edwards is
