Maxs face at the start before Tanya opens the door made me laugh. He always seems to pull that face. I love how Max shit himself when Jack lunged forward.
Max had every right to be protective of Abi. Not only was she his daughter but she was only 16 and most 16 year olds don’t have a clue about relationships.
I understand that Max was trying to keep his daughter safe. But butting in with his ex wife telling her who she can and can't see. He should just be interested in the we'll fair of his kid's.
LOL Oh yeah Max ain't slimy at all, real straight shooter, that one. It wouldn't make sense storyline-wise anyway, Jack has trained to fight, he knows how to box, he was a detective so he probably had Hand-to-Hand combat training of SOME sort, and frankly he's just bigger and stronger then Max is. It's REALISTIC that Max stands no chance. Phil only wins some bouts because he's in fights every 2 weeks for 30 years now (have to figure out how to fight eventually if you fight often enough) and also was a very good boxer in his younger days. Max is the most slimy parasitic character in EastEnders history, he's up there with fucking Dean Wicks as one of the most unlikable characters (don't forget he MURDERED Steven Beale.) He almost never ever does the right thing, he slept with his son's fiance more then once, cheated on every single woman he dated, is generally a bully, manipulative, rude, and UNREASONABLY violent. Whereas I think Jack sometimes can be more reasonably violent. On top of that Max has disowned his daughters multiple times, (ONE OF THEM DIED BECAUSE OF HIS ACTIONS!) Tried to murder Ian and Phil, granted they were VERY in the wrong, but dude throws EVERYTHING away for revenge, then Bobby comes back and Max almost beats him up, a 14-year-old kid. Max is the worst character on EastEnders morally, and why they let him stick around is a complete mystery.
