I feel bad for Max. He's a talented player whose talent was wasted this season by Hamm's coaching incompetence. Too many missed free throws, too many offensive rebounds given up, and Hamm's clueless coaching cost the Lakers this game and the series.
This is on lakers organization they don’t know how to use their players the right way. That’s the reason why max played in summer league last year cuz he needs to earned his role but the lakers don’t know ball. He arvg 19 ppg in his second summer league he got improved from his first summer league.
I really hope we keep this kid and get a coach that not only plays him but actually use him right. He can 100% be a solid 3 and D starting SG for a LONG time for us
max will be a valuable piece to this team. He is only 21 years old. All he needs to do is show consistency. He has a decent amount of IQ and it will eventually grow.
this ones on ham. he had all season to develop and give time to max but he decides to give it to his atlanta buddies in cam and prince . lost us so many games due to that horrid lineup . we also had vando ready for this game when you can clearly see the team getting tired but he never used him. ham needs to go
Max you deserved more. Especially when the players ahead of you in rotation haven’t been good at all. Ham is really one of the few people I hate in my life.
I hope he goes to another team and ends up being a great starter for them. We underutilized him the whole season despite him being a solid defender (which we desperately needed) and shooter. Darvin SCAM
Max always very efficient, good defender, youthful... not building on that youth hurt lakers... not using the depth. Jackson Hayes... i just dont get Darvin Ham's gameplan...
Max definitely should have played over Dinwiddie and Vincent! They gave Ham nothing and he kept going to them which speaks to his gross incompetence that ultimately led to his firing.
This organization is so trash at developing players. Max/Reaves/Hachimura are pivotal in the type of players you need to develop a top tier team without relying on importing a star for 40+ mil. Rui looked like he got worse this year and is consistently lost on defense, AR's decision making has regressed since last year, and Max is getting less minutes than Reddish this year. You have to GROW talent! You can't just buy a team of solidified vets.
This is my biggest problem with this team and its landscape. A player like max is extremely coach able and is willing to do whatever it takes to get on the floor.
Fire Ham and if Ty Lue is available get him.Dont get a Star PG if we cannot get kyrie.. I prefer getting Lauri Markkanen & Malik Monk as starters.. We need that size and scoring power.. Let Reaves shines in the Point Guard position and run plays..Bring Back Lebron to his original position which is SF.. Bring Back Lebron, AD , Vando, Prince, Rui..Sign D. Howard & Alex Len..
