Max Holloway is an absolute beast. He put on a clinic in that fight, took that boy to school.

Kattar is one bad mf. To take that kind of beating and still keep fighting deserves respect. Max made this an iconic ufc fight rising up to another level showing us something we haven’t seen before. One of the greatest fights ever.

Perfect example of that elusive flow state. So interesting that our minds can go to this entirely new state of consciousness that allows us to perform physical and cognitive tasks at and unbelievably high level when pushed far enough. Saw Cody enter that state against Cruz. Conor basically lived in that state for over two years in the UFC. These are the moments that showcase what fighting is all about. Respect, dedication to your craft, and the payoff in the form of an absolutely stunning visual of a man dodging 5 punches in a row from a world class mma boxer while not looking and simultaneously telling the broadcasters that he is, in fact, the best boxer in the UFC. I mean come on, it doesn’t get any smoother than that. Some people never experience being in the zone at such an intense level, and that really sucks.

And thats sportsmanship right there love to see both men humble at the end.
