Max Martin is a hidden legend for making the world's sing his songs. He is so humble and an introvert who really hate being the center of attention but always credits people who had helped him on his success. Congrats! Max Martin deserves it and thank you for your music it has really help me and many others in our lives. BSB love you guys!
First of all, i don't think people realize how many stars he have worked with and produced. Second of all. I don't think people realize how big of a producer of music Sweden actually is. A country of 9 million is only behind US and UK in music export. That is just crazy.
You can really tell how much genuine love and appreciation the Backstreet Boys have for Max! Their introduction was so wholesome, I loved it. I can only dream of being the level of iconic and humble that Max Martin is.
Legend. And what a gentleman. Max truly epitomises everything that a songwriter strives to become. Incredible success and formidable knowledge. His humility and grace shines through.
He is The Man. I remember their humble beginnings in the basement where late Denniz Pop all started. Dr Alban said nobody cared for their songs, and poeple in Sweden ridiculed them. With help of endurance and good work ethics they launched to the top. Max is part of this and he very well knows it. They all own it to the Denniz. But Max is workaholic, focused and talented and he climbed to the top.
Making joke about "king of the kings", in front of the Swedish king, referring to a friend sitting the row behind - making the king (the real one) laugh... and get away with it with a giggle and a "sorry" nod. Epic!
So basically this men is the responsable for many good memories, party's, coreograpfys laughs, first kisses, relationships, tears and baby's. What a legacy.
Even when I was a little girl I adored him! Cause his credit was in every single song I cherished growing up in the 90s...you know as a kid you don’t even care about that but I kept reading his name and now as a grown up artist it’s truly a dream of mine to work with him but if that never happens I’m still enjoying and admiring his new work!! He’s truly a gem 🙏🏽❤️
I Come here ASAP after watch max martin's top 100 songs and boom. ALL of the list are the greatest hits that sang by big artists (katy, Taylor, ariana, Pink, avril and many More) he is the most brilliant Man in music industry
So sweet that BSB and Max have become such good friends. Max said in another interview that he considered himself a 6th BSB member. Lol they actually said that in their speech
Melodies is what swedish can produce ❤ ABBA changed the pop music and Max Martin continues same way to bring biggest hits ever 🎶 we are honored to listen their work 🇸🇪
Paul Overstreet country music producer, Desmond Child Rock n Roll, Max Martin Pop music, 3 of the greatest song writer producers in the last 40 years of music. Each making huge contributions in each of their Genres. There have been many song writers over the last 5 decades but these 3 guys have written so many songs for so many artists, the number is huge save maybe David Foster.
Very amusing to see Tomas Ledin whistling away at 9:00. Tomas, as well as a fine artist in his own right, was a backing vocalist for ABBA on tours. And of course he is married to Marie, the daughter of Stig Anderson, ABBA's old manager, the boss of the Polar label and founder of this great prize.
Max Martin, Deniz Pop, Pete Waterman, Matt Aitken, Mike Stock, Madonna and MJ are the best songwritters and producers in the industry. All the music I hear is from them.
S.A.W wrote schlock, save a couple tunes. My favorites would be Rod Tempterton, Holland-Dozier-Holland, and Burt Bacharach and Hal David. I would mention Joni but she is so far above everyone that it’s just unfair.
It's amazing how these two (Max Martin and the Backstreet Boys) credits each other success. When the Backstreet Boys received their star at the Hollywood walk of fame in 2013, Max was their to give a speech. He thanked them for changing his life as well. The Backstreet Boys became the first vessel of his music to the world and made him known.
It's not often the royal family and the audience gives a second standing ovation. Haven't seen it for a long long time (if ever) at the Polar Music Prize.
I just wish he was not that introvert! I dont find anything much about him on youtube.. So less interviews... I want to understand him as I am a musician
It’s like this video is on slow motion when BSB are talking. They seem really dumb and boring talking about Max. That’s why I’m an *NSYNC Fan. More natural personality and way better singers. Plus they don’t sound like they’ve had a lobotomy and then did a tribute speech.
Well he helped them, but when they needed him the most he said he didn't want to work with them because they were finished. Every line you say i feel hurt in your words and the way he is acting while they were speaking, shows how he was unfair to them. And he worked with Nsync too, bsb rivals? what friend does that? This is so weird to me, watching this and knowing how mean Max was to them.! After all this, all my fav song from bsb are his. He is amazing but as a bsb fan for 19 years, this look so uncomfortable ...
+remoteoutofcontrol I am trying to say when they came back after their hiatus. He didn't want to work with them again. After watching and see all they said and how friends they were/are, it's hard to process he deny them his help to come back. just that
Blowing smoke up each other, they all do it :( the name "Polar" gives it away, music should never be polar, it should be dynamic, and in constant change, not stagnate or polar.
