You know, I know it's kind of a meme to joke with master SM player Oats getting powerful items at the start, but personally I prefer watching seeds where he's got options early on. It's no fun watching an hour straight of someone doing a slow, grindy, stupid hard trick that's technically possible.

I watch Oats for his Super Metroid content but I stay for Oats gaslighting himself by roleplaying as his chat.

Oats is pretty on point with the Swiss cheese take. Only exception is when it’s melted onto a burger with some mushrooms and whatnot. Swiss is a supporting cast member at best, never a star.

can someone explain me something? as a casual SM viewer, a spikesuit seems like the solution to most situations oats finds himself in, or am i overestimating its usefulness? like checking xray = spark across, escape draygon = spark upwards, check some stuff in the stupid maridia climb room thing = spark upwards?

The fact that Oats & I share an opinion on cheese is great. Extra sharp cheddar is where it's at, & both Swiss & Havarti can take a long walk off a short pier.

Oats is wrong. Limburger cheese is the worst. It smells and tastes like rotten feet.

gotta agree with you about swiss cheese. also it's time for me to periodically ask; would you be interested in doing a full door randomizer? It's a little more niche and has way fewer features, but it does exactly what it says it does; every single door (besides ceres and tourian) are completely randomized. Either synched or desynched so you can choose your level of pain. sorry if I've missed you responding to one of my other comments. I just think it'd be fun as hell to watch you play it, I know I had fun with it.

Dude, please try to tone down on the annoyed viewer imitations. It might feel like its funny in the moment when interacting with chat, but it makes for a horrible viewing experience for anyone whos not a child or not participating in chat.
