I've been enjoying Max Payne 3 a lot lately, I always seem to take a break from this game but end up returning to it not long after. Also while I wait for new games to release, this is a good way to keep my attention. I hope you enjoy some of these clips, I had a lot of fun messing around to see what I could do. I gotta boot up the game and attempt to try this at some point with the armored enemies. I’ve seen another RU-vidr called Random Madness use this technique on his video of the game in the office level, and it was so cool.

Max Payne is the only series without a single bad game in it. 3 divided people, but it felt like a natural evolution for the series to me. It is also one of the slickest TPS to come out in a long time, and since then honestly. It holds up perfectly. Absolutely satisfying combat. I'd play it more if it weren't for the unskippable cutscenes.

the cutscenes are actually loading screens, once they're done loading, they can be skipped. At least the ones that I'm aware of

This game has such good attention to detail on the scenario. The early funk songs from Furacão 2000 in 7:25, the peesence of the FAL as a common rifle, the talk of the thugs that chase you down with lots of "caralho", "porra" and "filho da puta". This game is really awesome.

I love how creative this game lets you get with combat...I remember at one point close to the end I decided to dive down the guard rail on an escalator and while sliding all the way down shot like 5 dudes slow mo and felt like the coolest mf ever lol

This game is soooo faarkin' violent! I love it! I recently dusted off my XBox360 and bought a bunch of faves on EBay, MP3 being one of them. I can replay this game endlessly and never get sick of it. I'm also surprised that the loading times aren't as bad as I remember from when it originally released...

With the work rockstars been putting into their games. Mainly rdr2, I’m hyped for any shooter they have coming. (Hopefully modern day) the mechanics an how fluent everything was in the second red dead. It’s just great, an I can’t wait to see where it takes their games.

The gunplay felt so good. Online was awesome but plagued by some issues and lack of good content... I remember the snappy transitions between animation and ragdoll physics on the characters being “next-gen”.

That was the only thing missing proper gore and dismemberment. And the saddest thing is, that orginally MP3 was going to have dismemberment, but R* chickened out and rejected it. The leftovers of it can be seen after hobo blew himself up saving Max (bodies laying around had modelled organs and were missing limbs and heads).

Some of these dives are ridiculous lol. Max is more than a few dozen years old, running on painkillers and whiskey. He can't jump from two or three stories up, land flat on his chest, and somersault into cover 😅
